We take a look at the 4 FA Cup Quarter-Final matches taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each game.
SATURDAY
Manchester City v Burnley – Click here to bet
Manchester City have reached the quarter-final stage without conceding a goal. They beat Bristol City 3-0 on the road last time out and prior to that had a 1-0 victory over Arsenal and a 4-0 win over Chelsea.
Burnley are currently top of the Championship and in some excellent domestic form. They beat Premiership side, Bournemouth 4-2 away in the 3rd Round and since then have beaten Ipswich in a replay and Fleetwood 1-0 at home in the last 16. Burnley are eyeing out a return to the English Premier League and will see this as a test of where they are.
As well as they are playing though I can’t see them living with Manchester City and I am going to back City to score at least 3 goals in the game.
Suggested Bet: Manchester City, Over 2.5 goals at 9/10

SUNDAY
Sheffield United v Blackburn – Click here to bet
Sheffield United are currently 2nd in the Championship and looking good for a return to the English Premier League. They caused a big upset last time out when they beat Tottenham 1-0 at home in the Round of 16 and prior to that they defeated Wrexham on the replay and Millwall 2-1 in the 3rd Round.
Blackburn are also plying their trade in the Championship and they currently sitting 5th, very much in play-off contention having won 4 of their last 5 games. They saw off English Premier League side, Leicester 2-1 on the road in the Round of 16 and before that beat Birmingham in a replay and defeated Norwich on the road in Round 3.
These sides have met twice in the Championship this season with the home team winning on each occasion.
I think Sheffield United will be the least distracted of the sides as far as their League campaign goes as they are 6 points clear of 3rd place and I can see them being heavily focused on making the semi-finals and am backing them to win the match.
Suggested Bet: Sheffield United win at 4/6
Brighton v Grimsby Town – Click here to bet
Brighton are currently 7th in the English Premier League with 2 wins and a draw in their last 3 games. They have had few problems progressing to the quarter-finals beating Stoke 1-0 on the road in the last 16, Liverpool 2-1 at home in the Round of 32 and in Round 3 they beat Middlesbrough 5-1 on the road.
Grimsby are currently sitting 15th in League 2 and they saw EPL side, Southampton 2-1 in the Round of 16. They have generally come through all their early matches comfortably although they did require a replay to beat Luton in the round of 32.
The bookmakers have priced Brighton up short priced favourites here at 2/13 and it is hard to argue that Grimsby’s great run is going to come to an end.
I am looking for a comfortable Brighton win here and I am going to go for a correct score play of Brighton 3 and Grimsby 0.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, Brighton 3 Grimsby 0 at 11/2
Manchester United v Fulham – Click here to bet
This is an all EPL affair and sees Manchester United, currently 3rd on the log take on 9th placed Fulham. Both sides have been in shaky form in the League in their last few matches.
United have won all 3 of their FA Cup matches, 3-1 and all of those were at home. If you fancy they can make it a 4th 3-1 victory in a row that is trading at 10/1 in the correct score market.
Fulham saw off fellow English Premier League side, Leeds 2-0 at home in their last 16 and they required a replay to beat Sunderland in the Round of 32. They opened their FA Cup campaign with a 2-0 victory at Hull in the 3rd Round.
I am expecting a Cup hungry United side to hit their straps in this game and I will back the home team to score 3 goals.
Suggested: Manchester United over 2.5 goals at 16/10
