There are 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Wednesday and we suggest a bet in each of them.
Let’s start with a look at the latest Outright Betting in the English Premier League where we have Manchester City trading at 15/20 favourites ahead of Arsenal at 12/10. You can get 33/1 Newcastle and 40/1 and better the balance

Southampton v Nottingham – Click here to bet
This is a relegation 6 pointer as Southampton are currently bottom of the log in 20th place with Nottingham in 18th filling out the final relegation spot. There is only 2 points difference between the sides.
Southampton are on an awful run which has seen them lose their last 5 games in succession, most recently going down 2-1 on the road to Fulham, while Nottingham have won just 1 of their last 5 games and drew 1-1 at home to Chelsea last time out. Southampton have won only 1 home game this season and Nottingham have yet to win on the road.
This match pits the side with the worst home record in the League against the side with the worst away record and I think the draw is probably the play here.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 5/2
Leeds v West Ham – Click here to bet
Leeds are currently 14th on the log on 16 points after 16 matches and they are 3 positions and 2 points ahead of West Ham who sit 17th.
Leeds have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for and they drew 0-0 at Newcastle last time out. Their last home game was a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.
West Ham have lost their last 5 matches and since returning from the break went down 3-1 at Arsenal and then 2-0 at home to Brentford.
Bookies are struggling to separate these sides and so am I and I have certainly given consideration to the draw at 5/2. Leeds have played in some high scoring games of late though and I think this could be quite a frantic encounter with a few goals. I am going to back the bet that we get 3 goals or more in the match.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 15/20

Aston Villa v Wolves – Click here to bet
Aston Villa have climbed to 12th on the table with 3 victories in their last 4 games. Last time out they beat Tottenham 2-0 on the road and they previously lost 1-3 at home to Liverpool.
Wolves are 19th on the table, second from bottom on the log and they have only won 1 match out of their last 7. They lost 1-0 to Manchester City last time out, but did beat Everton 2-1 on the road on Boxing Day.
Wolves did the double over Aston Villa last season, but I think the tables will be turned here as I have been very impressed with Aston Villa of late and I am going for the home team to win the match.
Suggested Bet: Aston Villa win at 1/1
Crystal Palace v Tottenham – Click here to bet
Crystal Palace are currently 11th on the log with 3 wins and 2 defeats in their last 5 games. Their return to action on Boxing Day saw them go down 3-0 at home to Fulham, but they bounced back with a 2-0 away win over Bournemouth.
Tottenham are 5th on the table and have yet to win on their return to action following the World Cup break. They drew 2-2 at Brentford on Boxing Day and then lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at home.
This looks a tricky game to call and nothing obvious jumps out for me in my regular markets, I am going to take a speculative punt that we get a 2-2 draw.
Suggested Bet: Correct score, 2-2 at 13/1
