Nottingham v Everton – Click here to bet
Nottingham are 13th on the table, but have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. They went down 4-0 away at West Ham last time out and their last home game was a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
Nottingham are undefeated in their last 5 home matches with 3 victories and 2 draws and digging into their goal stats at home Nottingham home games have averaged 2.3 goals each. Only 3 of the 12 matches would have delivered you a profit had you backed over 2.5 goals
Everton are currently 18th on the log sitting in the final relegation spot. They have won 2 and lost 3 of their last 5 starts and in fact have lost 7 of their last 10. Last time out they were hammered 4-0 on the road by Arsenal and their last home game was a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa and they have only won once on the road in 12 attempts this season. Those games have been pretty low scoring averaging 2.2 goals each with only 4 of the 12 reaching the 3 goal mark.
These sides played to a 1-1 draw at Everton earlier this season.
This is not a bet I take very often in the English Premier League, but I have to say the draw is the value here at a shade over 2/1. There really shouldn’t be much between these sides and both of them are still desperate for points as the run in to the end of the season begins.
Suggested Bet: The Draw at 21/10
Liverpool v Manchester United – Click here to bet
Without a doubt this is the clash of the weekend and pits two of the form teams against each other.
Liverpool are 6th on the table, a full 10 points behind Manchester United in 3rd, but they have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4. They were impressive in midweek beating Wolves 2-0 at home, their 4th successive game where they have not conceded a goal. Liverpool have only lost 1 at home this season and 50% of Liverpool home matches have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers. Beware though the last 3 games have all finished under 2.5 goals at Anfield.
Manchester United are up to 3rd on the table 11 points behind leaders, Arsenal, but with a game in hand. They have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 games and last time out beat Leicester 3-0 at home. Their last away game was a 2-0 victory over Leeds and they have a good away record with 6 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats in 12 matches. Manchester United away games also had a 50% return for over 2.5 goal backers. 3 of their last 4 matches have also finished with 2 goals or less in them.
United beat Liverpool 2-1 at home earlier this season and last season Liverpool swept Manchester United aside 4-0 in this fixture and 5-0 on the road.
At the time of writing Liverpool are 14/10 for the game virtually the same price as United at 37/20 with the draw trading at 27/10.
Over 2.5 goals is 13/20 and I do think we are going to get goals in this one and will go for the bigger price that we get 4 or more.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 31/20
Note: All prices correct at the time of writing but are subject to change
