We take a look at the 6 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet in each.
A reminder that the Outright English Premier Markets are updated on a regular basis and at the time of writing Manchester City are 10/11 favourites to win the Title with the Gunners priced at 11/10

Everton v Aston Villa – Click here to bet
Everton have forced their way up to 16th on the table with 2 wins in their last 3 starts. Both of those wins came at home against Arsenal and Leeds and both by 1-0 goal winning margins. They face Aston Villa who have slipped to 11th on the table after 3 successive losses including a 4-2 home defeat by Arsenal last time out.
Both these sides are inconsistent and I am not going to take a bet on either of them to win it, but rather go for over 2.5 goals priced generously at 12/10. This is on the back of Everton’s low scoring streak, but by contrast there have been a total of 16 goals in Aston Villa’s last 4 matches and I am hoping we get goals aplenty.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 12/10
Leeds v Southampton – Click here to bet
Leeds are currently second from bottom of the table and without a victory in their last 10 matches. They are 1 position and 1 point above their opponent, Southampton who have won 2 of their last 5, but have lost 8 of their last 10 matches. Southampton scored a shock at 7/1 odds last time out when they beat Chelsea on the road.
This is a relegation 6 pointer if ever I have seen one and it is stating the obvious that the draw should be a big runner and has also arrived in the last 2 head-to-head meetings between the sides.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 26/10
Leicester v Arsenal – Click here to bet
Leicester are currently 14th on the log and they saw a 3 match run without defeat ended last time out when they went down 3-0 at Manchester United. Their last home game though was an excellent 4-1 win over Tottenham.
Arsenal are top of the log leading Manchester City by 2 points and with a game in hand. They got a much needed come-from-behind win against Aston Villa away last time out winning 4-2. That broke a run of 3 matches in which time they had only taken 1 point.
The Gunners beat Leicester 4-2 earlier in the season. They are priced at 8/11 to get 3 points on the road with Leicester priced at 7/2. 3 of the last 4 Leicester matches have had 4 goals or more in them and the same applies to Arsenal’s last 2 games and I am looking for 4 goals or more in this one.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 16/10
West Ham v Nottingham – Click here to bet
West Ham are currently 18th on the log and filling up the final relegation position. They have only taken 2 points from the last 9 they have played for and last time out lost 2-0 away to Tottenham.
Nottingham are up to 13th on the table having lost only once in their last 7 starts. They got an honourable point at home to Manchester City last time out drawing 1-1 and the draw was available at 9/2 on the day.
Nottingham edged West Ham 1-0 earlier this season but West Ham’s recent home form has shown an improvement with a draw to Chelsea and a victory over Everton and I am going for the Hammers to get all 3 points here.
Suggested Bet: West Ham win at 8/10

Bournemouth v Manchester City – Click here to bet
Bournemouth are currently 17th on the log and hovering just above the relegation zone. They beat Wolves 1-0 away last time out and that was their first win in 7 matches. Bournemouth’s last 5 matches have all delivered profits for those backing under 2.5 goals.
Manchester City are 2 points behind Arsenal having played a game more and they dropped 2 points disappointingly last time out allowing Nottingham to score a late equaliser. Prior to that they had beaten Title rivals, Arsenal 3-1 on the road and they had few problems seeing off Bournemouth in the reverse fixture winning 4-0 at home.
City were also in action against RB Leipzig in midweek drawing the 1st leg of the last 16 Champions League encounter 1-1.
City are justifiably short-priced at 2/7, but they lost the battle to get the job done on the road this season and am going to back them to win this game by 2 goals exactly.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester City -2, the draw at 3/1
Crystal Palace v Liverpool – Click here to bet
Crystal Palace are currently 12th on the log, but without a win in their last 7 starts. They have drawn 4 of their last 5 including drawing 1-1 at Brentford in their last game.
Liverpool are up to 8th on the table after back-to-back wins, away at Newcastle and at home to Everton both by 2 goals to nil winning margins. Overall on the road they have struggled though and that victory over Newcastle broke a 3 match losing streak on the road.
Liverpool were hammered 5-2 at home by Real Madrid in the Champions League in the 1st leg match in midweek and I think with their confidence dented, Crystal Palace are capable of exploiting it and getting something out of this.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Crystal Palace +0.5 goals at 23/20
