Tottenham v Aston Villa – Click here to bet
Tottenham had to come from behind to draw 2-2 with Brentford last time out and they currently sit 4th on the log, 10 points behind neighbours, Arsenal who have played a game less. They have won 6 of their 8 matches at home this season while losing 2 and over 2.5 goal backers have collected profits in 10 of the 16 Tottenham matches this season.
Aston Villa are currently 12th on the log and coming off a 3-1 home defeat to Liverpool. Prior to that they had won 3 out of 4 matches and on the road this season they had just 1 victory in 8 attempts with 5 losses and 2 draws. That victory did come in their last away match though when they beat Brighton 2-1.
Goals haven’t been as plentiful in Aston Villa games although there is still more than a 50% strike rate on over 2.5 goals with 9 of the 16 matches obliging and the last 6 Aston Villa games have all had 3 goals or more in them.
One stat which stands out for me when looking at the head-to-head records is that both teams have found the back of the net in the last 5 times they have met at Tottenham and that is enough for me to be climbing into the 8/10 currently on offer. I also like the fact that goals have been flowing freely in Aston Villa matches.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 8/10

Nottingham Forest v Chelsea – Click here to bet
Nottingham are currently second from bottom of the log and last time out were beaten 3-0 away at Manchester United. Their last home game though was a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, their 3rd home win of the season in 8 attempts. Nottingham are undefeated in their last 4 home games and having a look at the goals record in their matches 7 of the 16 matches have reached the 3 goal mark.
Chelsea are 8th on the table and broke a 3 match losing run when they beat Bournemouth 2-0 at home last time out. They have won 3 and drawn 1 of their 8 away matches, but haven’t won in their last 3 away games. Chelsea’s matches this season have seen just over 50% of the games deliver profits for over 2.5 goal backers with 8 of the 15 matches reaching the 3 goal mark, 4 of the last 5 though have failed to do so.
Nottingham may have shown some improved form, but Chelsea look like a side which meant business last time out and they will be my shortest price bet of the weekend.
Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 7/10
