England take on Argentina at Twickenham on Sunday and we preview the game and suggest a bet.
ENGLAND
England showed that they will be massive contenders at the World Cup when they toured Australia in mid-year and came back from losing the opening Test to win the Series 2-1.
It was a much needed result after a disappointing 3rd place finish in the Six Nations earlier in the year and their campaign ended with a rare loss at Twickenham going down 32-15 to the Irish.
England have a good recent record against Southern Hemisphere teams in the Autumn Internationals and last year beat both Australia and the Springboks.
ARGENTINA
Argentina were a mixed bag in the Rugby Championships and the highlight amongst their two wins was the victory over New Zealand although this was dampened somewhat by the 53-3 hammering by the All Blacks the next week.
Their other win was at home against Australia. In mid-year they hosted Scotland edging a very close Series 2-1 and on last year’s November Tours they had a comfortable win over Italy, but lost to France and were given a real pounding by the Irish.
HEAD TO HEAD
England have won their last 10 Internationals against Argentina dating back to 2009 and the last three meetings at Twickenham has seen England win by 13, 13 and 19.

England 1/8
Draw 35/1
Argentina 13/2
Handicap: England -14.5
Suggested Bet: Handicap, England -14.5 at 19/20
I think England are going to build on their success in Australia and although Argentina can be competitive for long periods I can see the home team drawing clear to win by something in the region of 20 points.
