What a cracking match to get us restarted with leaders, Sundowns taking on 5th placed Orlando Pirates.
Sundowns were in cracking form before the break winning 6 matches on the trot and they have won their last 5 matches in succession. Orlando Pirates have been a bit hit and miss in their last 5 matches with 1 victory, 2 losses and 2 draws.
50% of Mamelodi Sundowns matches would have seen you collect profits had you backed over 2.5 goals, but not 1 of the 13 Pirates matches has reached the 3 goal mark yet.
Sundowns are worthy favourites at 15/20, but I am going to take the punt that we get 3 goals or more in the game at 13/10. This bet would have arrived in the last two meetings that Sundowns have hosted Pirates across all competitions.

Cape Town City are undefeated in their last 5 home matches whereas Royal AM have lost 3 of their last 4 on the road.
I like Cape Town City to win this one as got the feeling that before the break Royal AM were on slide.

Stellenbosch are currently 10th on the log, but without a win in their last 4 starts. They face Chippa United who are 6th, but failed to win either of their last two matches before the break.
Stellenbosch have won their last two home games against Chippa United, but neither of these teams gives me confidence to back them for a win and I am going to go for the draw.

Maritzburg United v TS Galaxy – Click here to bet
Maritzburg United are rooted to the bottom of the table with just 2 wins in their opening 13 games and they have taken only 2 points from the last 15 they have played for.
TS Galaxy are 12th on the log, but in something of a freefall and without a win in their last 9 matches and they drew their last 3 games before the break. Only 1 of the 12 TS Galaxy matches has had 3 goals or more in it.
I don’t think there will be much between these sides, but I am a bit surprised at the Maritzburg price of 16/10 as I thought they would be closer to the 12/10 mark. On that basis I am backing a home win here and hoping for a repeat of last season’s 1-0 result.
