Malajika is looking to defend his title for the 2nd time having beaten Commonwealth Champion Marcel Braithwaite in his last fight. Johannesburg based Malajika dominated throughout winning by unanimous decision to improve his record to 13-2 after 15 professional fights.
His opponent Sigqibo fights out of the Eastern Cape and as an 18-2 record in 20 fights. It has been almost a year since he fought Jonas Matheus who he bat by unanimous decision.
