TRIATHLON
The men’s triathlon takes place early on Tuesday morning and it looks likely to be a battle when Alex Yee (12/10) from Britain and New Zealanders Hayden Wilde (3/1)
The way the course is set up should suit the pair who finished in 2nd and 3rd in Tokyo but they wont have things their own way and I expect big runs from the French trio of Le Corre (9/1), Coninx and Bergere both priced at 12/1. Defending champ Blummenfelt would like a tougher cycling leg but at 8/1 has a chance to defend.
I am going for a 20/1 winner though – see the bet at the bottom of the article.

SWIMMING
Tomorrow nights swimming session promises plenty of excitement and we have the finals of the Women’s 100m backstroke, the Men’s 800m Freestyle and the Men’s 4 x 200m Freestyle relay.
Regan Smith is the 17/20 favourite for the 100m backstroke with Kaylee Mckeown 13/10 and the rest of the field 15/2 or better.
Daniel Wiffen is 1//1 to win the 800m Freestyle for men with competition likely to come from Bobby Finke at 9/2.
Great Britain look very hard to beat in the 4 x 200m men’s Freestyle relay and are priced at 4/10.
TUESDAY BETS
I am going for a long shot in the Triathlon where I reckon Aussie Matthew Hauser has timed his preparation to perfection. This race looks more open than the betting suggests and I am going for a big upset.
Bet: Hauser win the Triathlon at 20/1
I am also going to take a swimming double with Wiffen to win the 800m Freestyle and Great Britain to win the 4 x 200m Freestyle relay
Bet: Double Wiffen onto Great Britain at 18/10 – use this code to populate your bet slip 12700404
