Friday night is jam-packed with Gold Medal action.
The Women’s 4x100m Relay gets us going and the USA are short priced favourites at 1/5 for the win.
Sarah Mitton is priced at 4/9 to win the Women’s Shot Put and Marileidy Paulino is a prohibitive 2/9 to win the Women’s 400m.
Beatrice Chebet is the bookies pick at 7/20 to win the 10000m
South Africans will be on the edge of their seats for the Men’s 4 x 100m Relay Final having qualified 2nd behind the 1/8 favourites the USA. South Africa are 2nd in the betting at 12/1.
In the Men’s Triple Jump Pedro Pichardo is a backable 5/4 to take Gold and I think Karsten Warholm (2/1) can push 4/9 favourite Rai Benjamin in the Men’s 400m Hurdles – see my Play of the Day below.

Ruoning Yin is the 9/4 favourite and Nelly Korda the defending champion is 13/2 alongside Lydia Ko. South African Ashleigh Buhai has drifted to 35/1 after a disappointing 2nd round.
FRIDAYS PLAY OF THE DAY
I got greedy on Thursday adding a short price to my Tebogo to win bet and it was the 9/2 shot who won in style while the 15/20 shot went missing.
I am keeping it simple and will go with a straight win on Warholm in the 400m.
