The fourth round of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League continues on Wednesday the 4th of November with three English clubs facing away assignments. Liverpool travel to Fenerbahce, Manchester City visit RB Leipzig and Arsenal take on Slavia Prague. We take a closer look at all three encounters from a betting perspective below.
Fenerbahce vs Liverpool – Click here to bet
Fenerbahce sit 31st on the table with 2 points from their opening three fixtures. Two draws and one defeat have left the Turkish side searching for their first victory, with 3 goals to their name and 9 allowed at the other end.
Their latest outing ended in a 2-2 home draw against Slavia Prague, offering some encouragement after a heavy 6-0 defeat away to Aston Villa. Fenerbahce began their campaign by holding AS Roma to a 1-1 draw.
Liverpool extended their winning start with a dramatic 4-3 home victory over Villarreal last time out. That followed an equally entertaining 6-3 success away to LASK, with the Reds relying on their attacking strength to overcome another demanding evening defensively.
An opening 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid completes their perfect record through three fixtures. Liverpool occupy 4th position with 9 points, having struck 12 times while their defence has been breached on 7 occasions.
Head-to-Head
There are no previous meetings recorded between these clubs in history.
Match Odds (1X2)
Fenerbahce: 6.00
Draw: 5.25
Liverpool: 1.49
Verdict
Liverpool’s defensive record gives Fenerbahce reason to believe they can threaten, particularly after finding the net in both home fixtures. However, the visitors have consistently produced enough going forward to overcome those weaknesses. With Fenerbahce still without a victory and Liverpool carrying considerable attacking momentum, I am backing the Reds to make it four wins from four.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester City – Click here to bet
RB Leipzig returned from Real Madrid with a 4-1 defeat in their latest European appearance. It was their second away loss by that scoreline, having also been comfortably beaten by Como in their opening fixture.
Their only points came through a narrow 1-0 home victory over PSV between those defeats. Leipzig occupy 28th spot on the log with 3 points, with 3 goals registered in attack and 8 shipped across their opening three matches.
Manchester City have collected 6 points to sit 12th overall, recording two victories and suffering one defeat. Their return of 9 goals reflects a productive start going forward, although 5 have gone in at the other end.
City delivered their strongest attacking display of the campaign when they brushed AEK Athens aside 5-1 in their last game. That result provided an immediate response to a 4-2 home defeat against PSG, while their opening assignment brought a controlled 2-0 victory away to Porto.
Head-to-Head
Manchester City have won four of the six previous meetings between these clubs, with RB Leipzig claiming one victory and the remaining encounter finishing level.
City won both clashes during the 2023/24 Champions League group stage, following a 3-1 away success with a 3-2 victory in Manchester. Leipzig have experienced mixed fortunes at home in this matchup, recording a win, a draw and a defeat across their three meetings in Germany.
Match Odds (1X2)
RB Leipzig: 5.25
Draw: 5.00
Manchester City: 1.56
Verdict
Leipzig’s home victory over PSV showed they can keep things tight, but City will not be easy to contain. The visitors responded emphatically against AEK and already have an away win with a clean sheet on their record this season. I expect City to take control and secure another three points although I expect goals at both ends.

Slavia Prague vs Arsenal – Click here to bet
Slavia Prague collected their first point of the campaign with a 2-2 draw away to Fenerbahce in their latest trip to the pitch. After consecutive defeats that result finally gave the Czech side something to build on ahead of Arsenal’s visit.
Slavia opened with a 3-2 home loss against Lens before suffering a 2-0 defeat away to Sabah. They remain winless in 32nd position with 1 point, having found the target 4 times while allowing 7 goals slip.
Arsenal remain unbeaten in 9th on the table with 7 points from a possible 9. With 6 goals for and just 2 against they have endured a strong start with their defence keeping the opposition out in both of their opening victories.
The Gunners began by edging Napoli 1-0 away before comfortably defeating Lille 3-0 at home. Their latest appearance brought a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich where they fought back to preserve their unbeaten record and leave Germany with a valuable point.
Head-to-Head
Arsenal are unbeaten across the five previous meetings between these clubs, recording three victories and two draws.
Their most recent encounter ended in a 3-0 Arsenal victory in Prague during the 2025/26 Champions League. The Gunners also won 4-0 on their previous visit in the 2020/21 Europa League, while Slavia have yet to register a goal in their three home meetings with the London side.
Match Odds (1X2)
Slavia Prague: 12.00
Draw: 6.75
Arsenal: 1.25
Verdict
Arsenal’s disciplined start and encouraging draw in Munich make them difficult to oppose here. Slavia earned a useful point in Turkey but have yet to keep a clean sheet, leaving them vulnerable against a side capable of controlling proceedings against them. I am backing Arsenal to build on their strong record in this matchup with another clean sheet away victory.
