Quick Bet at WSB: Place Your Bets Faster with Our New Betting Feature
Set Your Stake, Select Your Market and Bet with One Click
When live sport moves quickly, every second can matter. A goal, red card, wicket or sudden change in momentum can cause betting odds to shift or markets to be suspended.
That’s why World Sports Betting is introducing Quick Bet, a new feature designed to make placing straight single bets quicker and more convenient.
Quick Bet allows you to set your preferred stake in advance, then place a bet directly by selecting your chosen market. If the odds are still available, your bet can be placed with one click.
Whether you’re following a live football match, watching rugby or keeping an eye on another in-play event, Quick Bet helps simplify the betting process when you want to act quickly.
What Is Quick Bet?
Quick Bet is a new WSB betting feature that allows clients to pre-set their stake before selecting a market.
Instead of repeatedly entering your stake when placing a bet, you can choose a predetermined amount or enter a bespoke value. Once your stake has been applied, selecting an eligible market allows you to place your bet with one click.
The bet will then either be accepted or declined, depending on whether the odds remain available and the bet meets the applicable requirements.
Important: Quick Bet is currently available for straight single bets only.
How Does Quick Bet Work?
Using Quick Bet at WSB is designed to be straightforward.
Follow these steps:
- Log Into Your WSB Account
Start by logging into your WSB account on a supported platform.
- Find the Quick Bet Toggle
Your betslip will display the new Quick Bet toggle.
Select the toggle to access the feature.
- Choose Your Stake
Select one of the predetermined stake amounts or enter your own bespoke stake value.
This allows you to set the amount you want to use before selecting your betting market.
- Click “Apply Stake”
Once you have chosen your stake, select Apply Stake to save your changes.
Your selected stake will now be ready for Quick Bet.
- Select Your Market
Browse the available betting markets and choose the selection you want to back.
- Place Your Bet with One Click
Select the odds to place your bet.
If the odds are still available and the bet can be accepted, your wager will be processed. If the bet is declined, an error message will explain the reason.
Once accepted, your bet will appear under My Bets and in your betting history.
Why Quick Bet Could Be Useful for In-Play Betting
Live betting is all about reacting to events as they unfold. However, odds can change quickly, particularly when something important happens during a match.
Quick Bet is designed to make the process more efficient by allowing you to set your stake beforehand, so you can focus on selecting the market when the opportunity arises.
Here are some examples of how the feature could be useful.
Example 1: Football – Before a Goal Changes the Market
You are watching a football match, and one team is building pressure.
You decide you want to back that team in an available in-play market. Your Quick Bet stake has already been set at R50.
Instead of entering your stake again, you can select the market and click the odds.
If the odds are still available, your single bet can be placed immediately.
However, if a goal has already occurred or the market has been suspended, the bet may be declined. This is because live betting markets can change rapidly when significant match events take place.
Quick Bet helps streamline the process, but it does not guarantee that odds will remain available or that every bet will be accepted.
Example 2: Rugby – Acting Before a Major Match Event
Imagine you are watching a close rugby match and believe a team has a strong chance of scoring next.
You have already set your Quick Bet stake and find an available market that interests you.
With the stake pre-set, you can select the odds and place your single bet with one click, provided the odds remain available.
If a try, penalty or other significant event causes the market to change or suspend, the bet may not be accepted.
The feature is particularly useful for simplifying the steps involved in fast-moving in-play betting, while clients remain responsible for deciding whether and when to place a wager.
Example 3: Basketball – Following a Momentum Shift
Basketball markets can change quickly as the score and momentum shift throughout a game.
Suppose you have set a predetermined stake using Quick Bet and are monitoring a live match. You identify an available market you want to back.
With your stake already saved, you can select the odds without having to enter the amount manually again.
The bet will be accepted only if the odds remain available and the wager meets the relevant betting requirements.
Quick Bet and Changing Odds
One of the key advantages of Quick Bet is the ability to set your stake before selecting a market.
However, it is important to understand how changing odds work.
In-play betting prices can move continuously as the action develops. A goal, red card, injury or other major event may cause a market to be suspended or the available odds to change.
Quick Bet is designed to help you place a bet quickly, but it cannot prevent odds from changing or guarantee acceptance.
What Happens If My Bet Is Declined?
If your bet is declined, WSB will display an error message explaining why the wager was not accepted.
Possible reasons may include:
- The odds are no longer available.
- The market has been suspended.
- The bet does not meet the applicable requirements.
- Another restriction prevents the wager from being accepted.
Clients should review the message and check the available market before deciding whether to place another bet.
Quick Bet Is for Straight Single Bets Only
At launch, Quick Bet applies to straight single bets only.
This means the feature is intended for individual selections rather than accumulators, multiples or combination bets.
Before using Quick Bet, make sure you understand the type of wager you are placing and check the relevant market information.
The feature does not change the underlying risks of betting, and placing a bet more quickly does not increase the likelihood of winning.
Quick Bet at WSB: A Simpler Way to Bet
Quick Bet is designed to make the betting experience more convenient by allowing you to:
- Set your stake in advance.
- Choose a predetermined or bespoke amount.
- Apply your stake through the betslip.
- Select an eligible betting market.
- Place a straight single bet with one click.
- Receive confirmation of acceptance or an error message if the bet is declined.
- View accepted bets under My Bets and in your betting history.
The feature is especially relevant to clients who enjoy following live sporting events and want a more streamlined way to place their single bets.
