We are down to the final four in the URC, with two semi-finals on the menu this weekend. Leinster and Glasgow Warriors both reach this stage as the top two seeds, hosting the Stormers and the Vodacom Bulls respectively in what shape up as two genuinely intriguing knockout ties.
With three of the four South African qualifiers having advanced past the quarter-finals stage, two remain in the mix this weekend with a place in the URC final on the line. We take a look at both matches from a betting angle and lay down a few suggested plays.

Leinster are the clear favourites to lift the URC title at 1.80, looking to defend their crown after a dominant 59-10 quarter-final win over the Lions. Glasgow Warriors are the next-shortest price at 3.50 after their 33-21 home victory over Connacht in the quarters, with the Blue Bulls priced at 6.00 following their 45-14 quarter-final win. The Stormers are the outsiders at 11.00, having to travel to Dublin to even keep their hopes alive. With Leinster looking imperious at home, the market is essentially handing them the title.
Leinster 1.80
Glasgow Warriors 3.50
Blue Bulls 6.00
Stormers 11.00
Glasgow Warriors v Vodacom Bulls — Click here to bet
Glasgow booked their place in the semis with a 33-21 home win over Connacht in the quarter-finals, putting 26 points on the board in the second half after a tight opening 40 minutes. Their four matches before the quarter-final read: a 26-22 win over Ulster away, a 40-17 win at home against Cardiff, and two heavy defeats to the Stormers and Lions away from home, 48-12 and 54-12 respectively.
The Bulls earned their semi-final spot with a comfortable 45-14 quarter-final win, capping off a strong run of form. Their four results before that read: a 45-19 home win over Benetton, a 54-19 home win against Zebre, a 23-21 away win over Scarlets and a 47-7 away win over the Dragons.
Head-to-Head
Glasgow lead the URC head-to-head 3-2 over the last five meetings. The most recent encounter was back in April, when Glasgow won 25-21 at home in the Champions Cup round of 16, a result that doubles as the Bulls last defeat. The last time the Bulls won this fixture was back in 2025, when they ran out 19-26 winners in Glasgow.
Betting and Verdict
Glasgow are at 1.61 while the Bulls are out at 2.60 and the draw 22.00. The handicap is set at Glasgow -3.5.
I think this is going to be a very close encounter, with both sides arriving in form. However, Glasgow have won 14 of their last 15 home games, with the only loss in that stretch coming in the Champions Cup. With that kind of home record and a relatively small 3.5-point line to cover, I think Glasgow should be able to get the job done at Scotstoun.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Glasgow [-3.5] at 1.91
Leinster v Stormers — Click here to bet
Leinster booked their place in the semi-finals with a 59-10 demolition of the Lions at home in the quarter-finals. Their previous four results read: a 19-41 loss to Bordeaux in the Champions Cup Final, followed by three home wins prior to that — a 68-14 thrashing of the Ospreys, a 31-7 win over the Lions, and a 29-25 result against Toulonnais.
The Stormers booked their place in the semis with a 44-21 home win over Cardiff in the quarter-finals. The four matches going into that quarter-final were a real mixed bag, with the Stormers picking up just one win: a 22-16 away loss to Cardiff, a 38-38 draw away to Ulster, a 48-12 home win over Glasgow, and a 24-33 home loss to Connacht.
Head-to-Head
The Stormers have a really strong record against Leinster, having won three of the last five encounters between the sides. However, they are yet to beat Leinster in Dublin: the last two trips to the Irish capital saw Leinster win 36-12, with the other ending in a 22-22 draw.
Betting and Verdict
Leinster are at 1.12 while the Stormers are out at 7.25 with the draw 34.00. The handicap is set at Leinster -13.5.
The Stormers have not been great away from home at the back end of the season, winning just one of their last seven on the road. We saw last weekend just how dominant Leinster can be at home, and with another strong side named for this match, I think we could see them cover the handicap with plenty to spare.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Leinster [-13.5] at 1.91.
