We look at two English Premier League fixtures taking place on Tuesday the 19th of May and suggest a bet in each game.
Bournemouth vs Manchester City
Bournemouth occupy 6th place on the table with 55 points and have enjoyed an impressive campaign overall. The Cherries have registered thirteen victories, sixteen draws and seven defeats while scoring 56 goals and conceding 52.
They come into this fixture in outstanding form after securing four league wins in their last five appearances. They claimed a 1-0 away victory over Fulham in their latest outing after beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at home. Bournemouth have now gone 16 league games since their last defeat on the 3rd of January.
Manchester City are on 77 points and 5 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. City need to win here to take the title race to the last day of the season. They have been dominant going forward with 75 goals scored while they have only let 32 past the keeper.
City defeated Crystal Palace and Brentford 3-0 in back-to-back matches while before that they shared a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Everton.
They played Chelsea in the FA Cup final on the weekend winning 1-0.
Head-to-Head
Manchester City won the reverse fixture 3-1 earlier this season and beat Bournemouth by the same scoreline a year ago while they also claimed a 2-1 FA Cup victory in March 2025. Bournemouth did, however, secure a notable 2-1 home win in this fixture during November 2024.

Manchester City 1.69
Verdict
Bournemouth have been one of the in form sides in the division and should provide a stern test on home soil. Manchester City continue to look sharp in attack though and with so much still on the line in the title race they should have enough depth to pick up an important win although I do believe both sides will find the back of the net.

Chelsea vs Tottenham
Chelsea have accumulated 49 points but struggled for consistency in recent weeks both at home and on the road which leaves them 10th overall.
They played out a 1-1 draw away to Liverpool in their latest fixture after suffering six consecutive defeats over the past two months while finding the net just once across all of these games.
They are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup final last Saturday.
Tottenham sit 17th on the standings with 38 points and remain just above the relegation battle with two matches left of their campaign. A draw here will be enough to keep them in the EPL for next season.
They have collected nine wins, eleven draws and suffered sixteen defeats throughout the season while producing 46 goals and shipping 55.
Despite this they have been performing well in their last few matches, holding Leeds to a 1-1 draw in their meeting last Monday after recording back-to-back away victories over Aston Villa and Wolves where they won 2-1 and 1-0 respectively.
Head-to-Head
Chelsea won the first fixture this season 1-0 and also claimed victories in both league meetings during the previous campaign winning by 4-3 and 1-0 scorelines. Tottenham’s last win in this fixture came several seasons ago.

Chelsea 2.00
Draw 3.75
Tottenham 3.65
Verdict
Chelsea have struggled for momentum but their record against Tottenham has been excellent in recent years. Spurs arrive with improved confidence though and have looked more competitive in the last couple of weeks which should lead to an entertaining London derby. Chelsea may be a bit flat after the FA Cup defeat and I am backing the visitors to get the point they are after.
BET: Draw at 3.75
