FRIDAY
Crusaders vs Blues
The Crusaders are currently 5th on the log and having beaten the Waratahs at their new stadium, they were away to the Hurricanes last week where they went down 38-31.
The Blues sit 2nd on the table and are coming off a 45-19 demolishing of Moana Pasifika last week.
Head-to-Head
These sides met earlier in the season with the Blues winning 29-13 at home, but the Crusaders have won the previous four fixtures between the sides.

Crusaders 1.65
Draw 26.00
Blues 2.50
Handicap: -3.5
Verdict
The Crusaders have been inconsistent this season and I am backing the Blues to beat this handicap.
BET: Blues +3.5 at 1.91
Reds vs Chiefs
The Reds are 4th on the table and are coming off a 30-21 home victory over the Brumbies last week and the week before that they had gone down by 3 points to the Blues at home.
The Chiefs are currently 3rd on the table, and they are coming off a bye having beaten the Drua 42-22 in the Super Round the week before.
Head-to-Head
The Chiefs have won the last two meetings between the sides, but both games were played in New Zealand and the last time the Reds hosted in March 2024, they won 25-19.

Reds 3.00
Draw 26.00
Chiefs 1.49
Handicap: +5.5
Verdict
The points line seems high in such an important game and going under 58.5 points would have arrived in four of the last five meetings between the sides.
BET: Under 58.5 points at 1.91

SATURDAY
Highlanders vs Waratahs
Both these sides are currently sitting outside the playoff positions, the Highlanders in 9th spot, on 20 points, the same amount of points as the Waratahs in 8th, but the Waratahs have a game in hand.
The Highlanders were away to the Drua last week where they went down by 10 points and that was on the back of a 10 point win against Pasifika in the Super Round.
The Waratahs started as favourites last week against the Force but lost 17-20 at home and in the Super Round they pushed the Crusaders hard but eventually went down by 15 points in Christchurch.
Head-to-Head
The Waratahs have won 3 out of the last 4 meetings between the sides and last season beat the Highlanders 37-36 in a high scoring thriller at home.

Highlanders 1.43
Draw 29.00
Waratahs 3.25
Handicap: -6.5
Verdict
I am once again looking to the points lines here and I expect both of these teams to play with a nothing to lose attitude and I am going to go overs.
BET: Over 55.5 at 1.91
Moana Pasifika vs Hurricanes
Moana Pasifika are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table with only 1 victory in their 11 matches. They were at home to the Blues last weekend where they lost by 26 points, the week before that they went down 27-17 to the Highlanders in Christchurch in the Super Round.
The Hurricanes are top of the table with 8 wins and 2 losses this season. They beat the Crusaders by 7 points in a high scoring thriller in Wellington last week and in the Super Round they were too strong for the Brumbies, winning 45-12.
Head-to-Head
The Hurricanes beat Pasifika 52-10 last year, but Pasifika did beat them 40-31 the season before.

Moana Pasifika 23.00
Draw 67.00
Hurricanes 1.008
Handicap: +30.5
Verdict
I am expecting this to be an open game and with the Hurricanes not at full strength I am looking for Moana Pasifika to score at least 17 points.
BET: Moana Pasifika over 16.5 at 1.87
Brumbies vs Western Force
The Brumbies are currently in the final playoff spot in 6th on the log with 5 wins and 6 losses in their 11 matches. They have lost their last 3 games in a row including going down by 9 points away to the Reds last week and prior to that they lost to the Blues in the Super Round and were stunned by the Drua at home.
The Western Force are 10th on the log and still have a mathematical chance of qualifying . They got a good away win last week in Sydney beating the Waratahs 20-17 and their last home game was a 31-26 victory over the Crusaders.
Head-to-Head
Interestingly, the away team has won the last 4 meetings between these sides, and the last time they played in Canberra, the Force won a high scorer 45-42.

Brumbies 1.44
Draw 29.00
Western Force 3.15
Handicap: -6.5
Verdict
The Force are a team on the up and the Brumbies look to be in trouble, and I am going for the Force to beat the handicap.
