FRIDAY
Hurricanes v Crusaders — Click here to bet
Wellington has been a fortress for the Hurricanes this season. They thumped the Brumbies 45-12 in the Super Round last weekend, having earlier put 42 on the Blues and 52 on the Reds at home. Their only recent slip came away at the Chiefs, going down 17-22 after extra time.
The Crusaders bounced back with a 35-20 home win over the Waratahs last weekend after successive away defeats, 26-31 at the Western Force and 26-31 at the Reds.
Head-to-Head
The Crusaders have won the last two meetings between these sides, 31-24 away at the Hurricanes in April 2025 and 33-25 at home in February 2025. Before that the Hurricanes won 14-10 away in Christchurch in March 2024 and 27-26 at home in June 2023.
Betting and Verdict
The Hurricanes are 1.20, the Crusaders 5.25 and the draw is priced at 36.00.
The handicap is Hurricanes −13.5.
The Hurricanes home form is superb, but the Crusaders won 31-24 at this very ground last season and giving a side with the Crusaders pedigree a 13 point start is a big ask.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Crusaders [+13.5] at 1.87.
Waratahs v Western Force — Click here to bet
Two inconsistent Australian sides meet in Sydney. The Waratahs lost 20-35 away at the Crusaders last weekend but had beaten Moana Pasifika 29-14 at home and pulled off a gutsy 30-28 win at the Brumbies.
The Western Force won 31-26 at home over the Crusaders but were edged 22-24 at the Fijian Drua, though they also produced a stunning 42-19 victory away at the Reds. They are coming off a bye.
Head-to-Head
The Waratahs lead the H2H 3-2 in recent meetings, winning 33-26 away in October 2025, 22-17 away in May 2025, and 34-10 at home in March 2025. The Force’s two wins were emphatic, 24-3 at the Waratahs in September 2025 and 27-7 at home in May 2024.
Betting and Verdict
The Waratahs are 1.59, the Western Force 2.60 with the draw at 26.00.
The handicap is Waratahs −5.5
The Force showed with that 24-3 win last season that Sydney holds no fears, and 5.5 looks generous for a lively underdog.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Western Force [+5.5] at 1.87.

SATURDAY
Fijian Drua v Highlanders — Click here to bet
The Fijian Drua have found form, winning two of their last three, a 33-28 triumph away at the Brumbies and a tight 24-22 home win over the Western Force, their only loss was a 42-22 defeat against the Chiefs in Christchurch last weekend.
The Highlanders beat Moana Pasifika 27-17 in Christchurch last weekend but before that lost 40-47 at the Blues and 10-14 at home to the Brumbies and they currently sit in 7th just outside the playoff positions.
Head-to-Head
The Highlanders have won all four of the last meetings, 43-20 at home in April 2025, 39-3 at home in May 2024, 57-24 at home in March 2023, and 27-24 away in Fiji in April 2022. That away win proves they can get the job done on Drua’s home patch.
Betting and Verdict
The Fijian Drua are 1.54, the Highlanders 2.75 and the draw is trading at 26.00.
The handicap is Fijian Drua −4.5.
The Drua’s recent form gives them the edge, but the Highlanders are still in the playoff race and I think we could be in for a tight and low scoring game.
Suggested Bet: Total Points under 56.5 at 1.91.
Moana Pasifika v Blues — Click here to bet
Moana Pasifika’s nightmare season continues. They have lost nine straight, most recently going down 17-27 at the Highlanders in Christchurch, 14-29 at the Waratahs, and 17-62 at the Chiefs.
The Blues arrive in strong form, having won 36-33 in the Super Round against the Reds last weekend. Before that they beat the Highlanders 47-40, the Fijian Drua 40-15, and the Waratahs 35-20 away. They have only had one loss in the last five, losing 42-19 to the Hurricanes.
Head-to-Head
The Blues have won four of the last five, including a 43-7 demolition of Moana earlier this season. Moana’s only win came 27-21 at home in May 2025. The Blues also won 47-8 away and 31-30 at home in previous seasons.
Betting and Verdict
The Blues are 1.04, Moana Pasifika 15.00 and 51.00 the draw.
The handicap is Blues −28.5.
The Blues already put 43 past Moana this season, but 28.5 is a huge number. I am going to swerve the handicap though and go for a high scoring game.
Suggested Bet: Total Points over 62.5 at 1.91.
Reds v Brumbies — Click here to bet
An intriguing Australian derby to close the round. The Reds pushed the Blues all the way in a 33-36 extra-time thriller in Christchurch last weekend, having beaten the Crusaders 31-26 at home the week before.
The Brumbies form has nosedived as they were hammered 12-45 by the Hurricanes in the Super Round and lost 28-33 at home to the Fijian Drua, with their only recent win a 14-10 grind at the Highlanders.
Head-to-Head
The Reds have won the last two meetings, 34-31 away at the Brumbies earlier this season and 36-26 at home in September 2025. Before that the Brumbies won 24-14 at home in May 2025 and 39-26 away at the Reds in April 2025.
Betting and Verdict
The Reds are 1.69, the Brumbies 2.35 and the draw priced at 26.00.
The handicap is Reds −2.5.
The Reds have already won at the Brumbies this season and now have home advantage. The Brumbies have lost three of four and their confidence looks shot. The Reds covering 2.5 at home looks like the best bet of the weekend.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Reds [−2.5] at 1.87.
