BOURNEMOUTH vs BRENTFORD
Bournemouth sit 10th on the table with 39 points from 28 matches and remain in contention for a top-half finish. The side have scored 44 goals and conceded 46, highlighting their attacking threat but also defensive instability.
Their recent form includes a 1-1 draw with Sunderland, a goalless stalemate away to West Ham and an impressive 2-1 victory over Everton. They have also beaten Wolves on the road and drawn with Aston Villa, showing resilience and an ability to grind out results.
Brentford are 7th overall after 28 fixtures, currently on 43 points and they continue to push for European promotion. They have netted 44 goals while letting 40 slip past at the back, reflecting a positive goal difference and competitive balance despite their defensive line failing at times.
Their latest action includes a thrilling 4-3 win away to Burnley, a narrow 2-0 defeat at home to Brighton and solid victories over Newcastle as well as Aston Villa on the road. A 1-1 draw against Arsenal earlier this month further underlined their capability against top opposition.
Head-to-Head
Earlier this season Brentford secured a 4-1 home win in the league and also eliminated Bournemouth from the EFL Cup with a 2-0 victory away from home in August last year. Last season Brentford completed a league double, winning 2-1 and 3-2.

Brentford 2.75
Verdict
This fixture promises goals given both teams’ attacking output and defensive records. Brentford’s recent dominance in the head-to-head and stronger league position give them a slight edge but Bournemouth’s home form keeps this competitive. I am expecting an open encounter with both sides beating the keeper, but I think this will end in a draw.

WOLVES vs LIVERPOOL
Wolves remain 20th on the standings with just 13 points from 29 matches and unlikely to escape the relegation zone. They have scored just 20 goals this season while conceding 51, showing their struggles at both ends of the pitch.
Last time they played they picked up an upset 2-0 home win over Aston Villa. Prior to this they suffered a narrow defeat away to Crystal Palace and drew 2-2 against Arsenal. Despite flashes of competitiveness, consistency has been a major issue throughout the campaign.
Liverpool sit 5th on the table with 48 points from 28 matches and they have been in solid form during their last few trips to the pitch. They have gotten past the white line 47 times while forfeiting 37 goals, underlining strength in attack with occasional defensive lapses.
They have won four of their last five fixtures with a 5-2 victory over West Ham most recently, following consecutive 1-0 wins over Nottingham and Sunderland and a dominant 4-1 triumph against Newcastle. Their only trouble came a few weeks back when they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester City on home soil.
Head-to-Head
Liverpool won 2-1 in the reverse meeting earlier this season and have beaten Wolves consistently over the past few campaigns, including 2-1 home and away victories last term.

Liverpool 1.44
Verdict
Given Liverpool’s improved form and Wolves’ defensive frailties, the visitors are rightly clear favourites. Wolves may show fight at home but over 90 minutes Liverpool’s attacking depth should do the job. I am backing Liverpool to win comfortably with 3 goals or more in the game.
