SATURDAY:
JUVENTUS vs COMO
Juventus sit 5th on the table with 46 points from 25 matches and have had a decent campaign so far. They suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat away to Inter last time out but had previously beaten Napoli 3-0 and Parma 4-1 in convincing fashion.
Juventus have scored 43 goals and conceded 23, reflecting a strong balance between attack and defence. At home they have been reliable and remain unbeaten, although their recent inconsistency suggests they cannot afford complacency.
Como have been one of the surprise packages this season and currently occupy 6th place with 42 points. They held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw in the midweek and have already shown they can trouble the league’s elite.
Como boast an impressive defensive record letting just 19 goals slip all season while their frontline has been clinical, netting 39 goals.
Head-to-Head
These sides met earlier in the league where Como pulled off an upset to win the contest 2-0 on home soil. Before this they met twice last season where Juventus won both games with 3-0 and 2-1 scorelines.

Verdict
Como have proven they are no pushovers and they will not let goals pass the keeper easily at the back. Juventus are difficult to oppose on home soil though and will be eager to respond after their loss to Inter. I am expecting a competitive encounter with Juventus edging it.

LECCE vs INTER
Lecce are 17th on the standings with 24 points and are struggling to get clear of the relegation zone. They have picked up important wins over Udinese and Cagliari beating them 2-1 and 2-0 respectively in recent weeks but have struggled for consistency throughout the campaign.
Lecce have scored just 17 goals while letting 31 slip past their keeper, highlighting their difficulties at both ends of the pitch.
Inter remain top of the league with 61 points from 25 matches and are in outstanding form. They have won six consecutive league fixtures, including a thrilling 3-2 victory over Juventus and a dominant 5-0 win away to Sassuolo.
Inter’s attacking output has been remarkable, scoring 60 goals while conceding only 21 and they have won ten of their 12 away fixtures.
Head-to-Head
Inter secured a 1-0 home victory over Lecce in January and have consistently kept clean sheets in this matchup, winning all five of their last clashes.

Verdict
Given the difference in quality and Inter’s relentless form, it is difficult to see anything other than an away victory. Lecce may attempt to keep things compact, but Inter’s firepower should prove decisive.

AC MILAN vs PARMA
AC Milan sit 2nd on the table with 54 points and remain Inter’s closest challengers. They are unbeaten in their last five matches and have shown strong defensive organisation, conceding just 19 goals all season.
Milan’s home form has been impressive, and they will view this fixture as an opportunity to maintain pressure at the summit.
Parma are positioned 12th on 29 points and have produced mixed results of late. They have recorded back-to-back 2-1 and 1-0 wins against Verona and Bologna but were heavily beaten by Atalanta and Juventus before that.
Parma have scored only 18 goals this season and may struggle to break down Milan’s disciplined defensive unit.

Verdict
AC Milan’s consistency and defensive solidity should see them through comfortably here. Parma’s lack of attacking threat makes it difficult to back them causing an upset. I am expecting Milan to control the tempo across 90 minutes.
