ARSENAL vs SUNDERLAND
Arsenal sit top of the table with 53 points from 24 matches and have maintained their solid form throughout the campaign. They bounced back impressively last time out with a 4-0 away win over Leeds after suffering a narrow 3-2 defeat to Manchester United and they have lost just one of their last five outings.
The Gunners have been excellent at both ends of the pitch, scoring 46 goals while conceding just 17 and they have pulled 6 points clear of Manchester City on the log.
Sunderland occupy 8th position overall with 36 points from 24 matches and have been one of the surprise packages of the campaign. They arrive in confident mood after a convincing 3-0 home win over Burnley, although before this they settled for a 3-1 loss away to West Ham.
Notably they have struggled to find momentum away from home, losing six of their fixtures on the road while drawing four and winning only two.
Head-to-Head
The sides played out a 2-2 draw earlier this season but Arsenal dominated this fixture when they met in the EFL Cup during 2021, winning with a 5-1 scoreline.

Arsenal 1.23
Draw 6.50
Sunderland 13.00
Verdict
Arsenal have been superb at home and should have far too much quality for a Sunderland side struggling on opposition turf. I expect the league leaders to control the game and win comfortably in what will be a high scoring, one-sided affair.

BOURNEMOUTH vs ASTON VILLA
Bournemouth are 12th on the table with 33 points from 24 matches and have been involved in plenty of competitive contests. They secured an impressive 2-0 away win at Wolves last time out after edging a 3-2 victory over Liverpool as underdogs.
They have scored 40 goals this season, showing their firepower on attack but letting 43 past the keeper highlights their poor defensive structure.
Aston Villa sit 3rd with 46 points from 24 matches and remain in the conversation for Champions League promotion. Villa narrowly lost 1-0 at home to Brentford in their most recent test, which came after a controlled 2-0 away win over Newcastle.
Their goal difference of +9 shows the sides balance, although recent performances have been slightly inconsistent having lost two, won two and drawn one of their last five trips to the pitch.
Head-to-Head
Villa won the reverse fixture 4-0 at home earlier this season. Prior to that they clashed twice last season where the first leg was drawn 1-1 and the second game concluded in a 1-0 triumph for Villa on the road.

Bournemouth 2.75
Draw 3.65
Aston Villa 2.45
Verdict
This looks set to be an open contest between two attacking teams. Bournemouth are dangerous at home, but Villa’s away record indicate that they have what it takes to take all three points. I think there will be goals from both ends and Villa will take the win.

FULHAM vs EVERTON
Fulham are 9th on the leaderboard with 34 points from 24 matches and continue to produce mixed results. They were beaten 3-2 away by Manchester United the last time they played after a 2-1 home win over Brighton.
They have scored 34 goals and conceded 35, showing how evenly matched most of their games have been this season.
Everton sit just below them in 10th with the same number of points and have proven difficult to break down. The side drew 1-1 away to Brighton in their latest match following another 1-1 stalemate with Leeds a few days prior.
They currently possess a goal difference of -1 reflecting the fact that Everton have been involved in tight encounters for much of the campaign, while struggling to convert opportunities into wins.
Head-to-Head
Everton earned a 2-0 home win as the slight favourites when the sides met earlier this season. This followed a dominant 3-1 away win in their second game last season after the first game was drawn 1-1.

Fulham 2.10
Draw 3.25
Everton 3.65
Verdict
There is very little to separate these sides on current form and league position. Goals could be hard to come by and this has all the makings of a closely fought battle. Although Fulham enter as the favourites I think there is value in the draw here.
BET: Draw at 3.25
