AmaZulu come into this fixture sitting 4th on the standings with 30 points from 16 matches. They have impressed this season recording nine wins, three draws and four defeats while holding a goal difference of +5. Their recent form has been encouraging with four victories from their last five league outings.
Most recently they claimed a hard fought 1-0 away win over Marumo Gallants which followed a 3-2 home success against TS Galaxy. At home they have been particularly effective, winning four of their last five matches on their own turf.
Orlando Pirates currently occupy 2nd place, level on 32 points with leaders Mamelodi Sundowns but having played one game fewer. The Buccaneers have enjoyed an excellent campaign to date with 10 wins from 14 matches while conceding just five goals all season.
Their latest performance saw them ease to a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Magesi which came after a goalless stalemate away to Sekhukhune. The side have been solid on the road, winning three of their last five away fixtures while keeping clean sheets in two of those successes and the remainders resulted in draws.
