WOLVES vs NEWCASTLE
Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League table in 20th place and have had a miserable campaign throughout. Despite showing signs of resilience recently, including draws away to Everton and Manchester United and a surprise 3-0 home win over West Ham, consistency continues to evade them.
Wolves have scored just 15 goals this season while conceding 41, highlighting their struggles in front of goal and on defence.
Newcastle sit 6th on the log and remain firmly in the hunt for European qualification. They are coming off three consecutive league wins, beating Leeds 4-3 last time they played, Crystal Palace 2-0 and Burnley 3-1 away from home.
With 32 goals scored and improving defensive stability, Newcastle appear to be finding momentum at a crucial stage of the season.
Head-to-Head
The most recent encounter between the teams came in September where Newcastle edged the game 1-0 at home. Before that they met in the 24/25 season where Newcastle won both games with 3-0 and 2-1 scorelines.

Wolves 4.50
Draw 4.00
Newcastle United 1.71
Verdict
I think Wolves may put up a fight at home in what should be an entertaining game but Newcastle’s current run of form and attacking threat should be enough to see them through.

ASTON VILLA vs EVERTON
Aston Villa are 3rd on the table and continue to impress this season with consistent performances all round. The side are unbeaten in four of their last five league matches, picking up notable wins over Chelsea and Manchester United, despite drawing their latest game 0-0 away to Crystal Palace.
Villa have scored 33 goals this season and remain particularly strong at home where they regularly control games and possess a +10 goal difference.
Everton are 12th on the standings and have struggled to find rhythm in recent weeks. While they did manage a 2-0 away win at Nottingham, they have since lost 2-4 to Brentford at home and drew 1-1 with Wolves, also on the road.
With just 23 goals scored across the season Everton often lack cutting edge against stronger opposition, although their defence has been reasonable conceding 25 goals.
Head-to-Head
The first fixture earlier this season ended in a goalless draw at Goodison Park. Last season Villa edged Everton 1-0 away, while the most recent meeting at Villa Park saw the hosts claim a narrow 3-2 victory in 2024.

Aston Villa 1.67
Draw 3.85
Everton 5.00
Verdict
I think Villa’s performances at home and greater attacking depth should prove decisive against an Everton side that struggles on the road. I am going for Villa to win without conceding.
