India and South Africa meet at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday with the 5-match T20 Series beautifully poised at 1-1. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
SERIES RECAP
India won the 1st T20 in Cuttack by a massive 101 runs, backing first they scored 175 for 6 and then bowled South Africa out for 74.
South Africa bounced back though with a 51 run win in the 2nd T20 which took place at the New Chandigarh Stadium on Thursday. India won the toss and elected to field first in cool conditions and with dew expected. South Africa lost Reeza Hendricks early, but Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram put on a strong second wicket partnership with Quinton de Kock eventually top scoring with 90 runs off 46 balls, clearing the boundary 7 times. There were useful contributions from all of the middle order and the South Africans finished with 213 for 4 in their 20 overs.
Varun Chakravarthy was the top Indian bowler with 2 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs.
Wickets fell regularly in the Indian reply and only Tilak Varma with his 62 off 34 balls stood between South Africa and victory. He could not find enough support though and India were bowled out for 162 in the 20th over.
Destroyer -in-Chief for South Africa was Ottneil Baartman with 4 for 24 off his 4 overs, albeit 3 of those wickets came in his final over with the match already won.

India 1.45
South Africa 2.90
Looking at this series across all formats, it has been a real roller-coaster with teams suffering a big defeat one day and then bouncing back with a big victory the next. We were on South Africa in the 2nd T20 and at current odds, I feel they are the value again because on their day they are capable of beating any team and some of the batsmen are showing signs of form.
BET: South Africa win at 2.90

Lungi Ngidi picked up top bowling honours in the 1st T20 and although he could not deliver in the 2nd, he is once again looking sharp and he did pick up two wickets. He bowled at the death which is normally where the wickets fall in batches and he looks a decent price to deliver the goods in the Top South African Wicket Taker Market.
BET: South African Innings Top Wicket Taker, Lungi Ngidi at 4.25
The Player of the Match Market is always a fun one to get involved in and I am going to put up Marco Jansen who has been in great form with both bat and ball. In the T20 format there is always a danger that he won’t get enough time at the crease, but he is the type of player who can make an impact in just two or three overs, and he is also well capable of getting amongst the wickets.
BET: Player of the Match, Marco Jansen at 19.00
