Orlando Pirates vs TS Galaxy – click here to bet
Orlando Pirates enter the fixture sitting 8th in the Premiership table with 12 points from six matches, but they are on a strong run with four consecutive victories. Most recently, they edged Siwelele 1–0 away from home, following up on a dominant 3–0 win over Chippa United and a routine 1–0 success against Orbit College.
The Soweto giants have tightened up defensively, conceding just three goals in the campaign, which is the best record in the league, while scoring seven at the other end.
TS Galaxy have also enjoyed an encouraging start, currently 6th on 13 points after seven games. They were impressive in their last outing, defeating AmaZulu 3–1 at home, extending an unbeaten sequence to five matches.
Galaxy boasts one of the liveliest attacks in the division with 13 goals scored already, the second highest tally in the league, although they have conceded seven in the process. Their away form is also solid, having beaten Orbit College 3–1 and drawn 1–1 at Richards Bay in recent weeks.
Head-to-Head
The two sides have met regularly in recent seasons, with Pirates enjoying a narrow advantage. Across their last ten encounters, Pirates have won five, Galaxy three, and two ended level. Last season saw Pirates win 2–0 away in October 2024 before Galaxy responded in May 2025 when they most recently met and the match was drawn 1-1 in Soweto.
Odds: Orlando Pirates 1.55 | Draw 3.60 | TS Galaxy 7.00
Verdict
Both sides bring good form into this contest, but Pirates’ defensive solidity and home advantage make them favourites. TS Galaxy’s attack is dangerous and could trouble the Buccaneers, but the hosts recent streak of clean sheets suggests they can edge a tight affair.
