Chiefs are 3rd on the table with 13 points from six matches, winning four, drawing one and losing one. Their form has been solid recently, despite a 3–1 defeat at home to Sekhukhune roughly a week ago.
Gallants are 9th with nine points from seven matches. They’ve drawn their last three league fixtures, including a credible 1–1 stalemate at home against Sundowns. While organised defensively, their lack of cutting edge in attack has limited their ability to climb higher up the standings and they currently sit on an even goal difference
Their most recent test was against Orbit College on Saturday where they both scored, and the game ended 1-1 away from home.

The sides are evenly matched historically, with Chiefs winning three, Gallants two, and three draws across the last eight meetings. Gallants took the points in April 2025 with a 2–1 away win, while Chiefs claimed a 2–1 victory in the reverse clash last September.

Chippa are bottom of the standings with just four points from seven games, having lost five matches already. Their latest result was a 2–1 away defeat to Polokwane, continuing a poor run of form that has seen them leak thirteen goals while only scoring five.

Sekhukhune have enjoyed the upper hand recently, winning three of their last four meetings. The most recent clash ended 1–0 in Sekhukhune’s favour back in February 2025 when they played Chippa on the road and before that they drew 1-1 earlier on in the league last season.
