PATRICK MUKALA vs CHRISTIANO NDOMBASSY
IBO All-Africa Middleweight Vacant Title Fight :
Patrick Mukala enters the main event with 16 professional victories, just 2 defeats, and a single draw to his name. Riding an 8-fight win streak, Mukala has proved he is dangerous fighter and of his 16 wins, 14 of them have been by knockout. Across the last year he has earned important wins over top regional names like John Bopape, who he stopped in the 6th and a unanimous decision over Ronald Ellis in September.
His most recent outing came in December 2024, when he dropped Paulinus Ndjolonimu in the 5th round with a powerful overhand right just 30 seconds in.
Christiano “The Warrior of Faith” Ndombassy stands across the ring from him and is a battle-hardened veteran who possesses 14 wins from 23 pro bouts of which 11 have been via knockout. Hailing from Angola and now based in Cape Town, he continues to defy age with his grit and ring generalship.
He has battled to maintain winning form in recent years though, losing against the likes of Roarke Knapp and Shervantaigh Koopman who are both talented opposition. Despite this he bounced back strongly when he last competed in October 2024, where he recorded a 1st round knockout victory over Darrin Rossouw.

Mukala 1.45
Ndombassy 2.75
PREDICTION:
Mukala’s speed, timing, and pressure should prove overwhelming over 10 rounds. While Ndombassy’s experience will help him remain competitive early, expect Mukala to take over in the middle stages. I am picking Mukala to win via KO/TKO in Rounds 4–6.
KAINE FOURIE vs OUMPIE SIBEKO
Lightweight Co-Main Event :
Kaine Fourie is rapidly establishing himself as a force in the South African lightweight division due to picking up 10 wins while losing 1 and drawing 2. His only professional loss came in March 2025 to Simon Ngoma by round 1 knockout, but he bounced back quickly with a 5th round knockout over Sifiso Hlongwane a few months later when they fought in June 2025.
Fourie is explosive early and thrives in mid-range exchanges, where his hand speed and combination punching shine, hence why he heads into this bout as the favourite.
Oumpie Sibeko is a well-rounded combat sports veteran who competed in MMA for most of his career, until he picked up professional boxing again in October 2023 where he drew to Vuyo Maphosa.
Since then, he has fought only once, stepping in the ring in September 2024 to claim a 3rd round knockout win over Cedrick Chauke in one of his strongest boxing performances to date. His durability and athleticism make him a tricky opponent over 8 rounds, and he will likely be a solid test for Fourie this weekend.

Fourie 1.18
Sibeko 4.75
PREDICTION:
Sibeko may frustrate Fourie with awkward movement and dark alley boxing, but the younger fighter’s clean striking and power should be enough to take control. I think that Fourie will come out triumphant with a knockout between the 6th and 8th.
GARY VAN STADEN vs KATLEHO MABASO
Super Middleweight Fight:
Gary van Staden, fighting out of South Africa, made his professional debut in May 2025 with an impressive and composed four-round decision win over Seth van Aswegen. The performance highlighted both his power and technical skill, and he’ll be eager to build on that momentum and make a statement in his second outing.
Katleho Mabaso enters the ring with a professional record of 2–2. He last fought in December 2024, suffering a defeat to Mxolisi Lahliwe – his second consecutive loss. With an extended buildup to this bout, Mabaso will be under pressure to deliver a strong performance and get back into the win column.

Van Staden 1.28
Mabaso 3.75
PREDICTION:
This could be a slow burner early, with Mabaso looking to stay elusive and draw Van Staden into mistakes. However, the heavier-handed Van Staden should be able to turn the tide with his pressure. I believe Van Staden will pick away at Mabaso as the fight commences and take a decision victory
