Al Hilal emerged from Group H as runners-up with a win and two draws, including a key 2–0 victory over Pachuca. They shocked Manchester City in the Round of 16, winning 4–3 after extra time thanks to a brace from Marcos Leonardo and crucial strikes from Malcom and Koulibaly.

Palmeiras topped Group A after going unbeaten with a win over Al Ahly and draws against Inter Miami and Porto. They edged Botafogo 1–0 after extra time in the Round of 16, with Paulinho scoring the winner in the 100th minute.
Chelsea secured second place in Group D after wins over LAFC and Espérance and a narrow loss to Flamengo. In the Round of 16, they outlasted Benfica 4–1 after extra time, with goals from Nkunku, Neto, and Dewsbury-Hall sealing their passage.
