The Nedbank Cup has reached the Semi-Final stages where 4 teams will battle it out for a spot in the final. We will look at both games taking place on Sunday the 13th of April from a betting front.

Orlando Pirates have had a dominant run on their route to the Semi-Finals and their campaign started with a 3-1 win over Richards Bay away from home. They then met with Baroka in the round of 16 and once again won 3-1.
Their last match was in the Quarter-finals when they met with SuperSport on the road and clinched a 3-2 victory to advance to the Semis.
Marumo Gallants have had a competitive few matches to get to the last 4. They started their run with a 1-0 victory against Pretoria Callies away from home and then went on to beat AmaZulu 1-0 on home ground.
They took on Durban City in the last round where they won 1-0 in front of an opposing crowd to book their spot in the Semi-Finals.
Head-to-Head
These sides met in the 21/22 Nedbank Cup when Marumo Gallants edged a 2-1 win at home. Their most recent clashes have been in the league this season where Pirates pumped them 8-1 in the first fixture at home. The second and most recent game was hosted by Marumo Gallants, and they claimed a 2-0 win.
Betting and Verdict
Orlando Pirates are favourites to win the fixture at 1.40 with the draw at 4.00 and Marumo Gallants priced at 9.00.
I think that although Marumo Gallants have pulled off some crazy upsets over the years, this will not be their day, and they will lose without finding the back of the net.

SUNDOWNS vs KAIZER CHIEFS – click here to bet
Sundowns have had a relatively smooth trip on their way to the Semis, winning their games comfortably except for their most recent match.
They kicked off the competition with a 5-2 home win over Sibanye, they then met with Mpheni in round 2 and won 2-0 on home turf.
Their third and final match was against Sekhukhune in the round of 8 where they clinched a 1-0 triumph after 90 minutes.
Kaizer Chiefs have performed well throughout the Nedbank Cup, putting in some solid shifts across their 3 qualifying games.
Their first match saw them encounter Free Agents in a game they won 4-0 at home. Their second fixture was a clash with Chippa United and as comfortable favourites they beat them 3-0 in front of their own supporters.
Their Quarters match was hosted by Stellenbosch and although Chiefs were away from home they claimed a 3-1 win.
Head-to-Head
These two teams met last in the PSL in a well-contested match which ended 1-0 in favour of Sundowns at ome. Prior to this they met in the 2024 Carling Knockout Cup where Sundowns defeated Chiefs 4-0 on the road and in the 1st of their 3 encounters this season Sundowns beat Chiefs 2-1 on the road in the league.
Betting and Verdict
Sundowns trade at 1.70 with the draw at 3.30 and Kaizer Chiefs priced at 5.50.
I believe this will be a tight match, with both teams coming into the Quarters on good form, however Sundowns will take the win in a high-scoring clash.
Rather than take the Sundowns straight win I am waiting for a price on Sundowns to win and over 2.5 goals.
