The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs meet in the 59th Super Bowl at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in the early hours of Monday morning, South African time.
Over 123 million viewers watched the 2024 edition and for those looking to add to their interest there is plenty of betting options.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
The Eagles have featured in 4 previous Super Bowls with 3 losses and a victory which came in Super Bowl LII back in 2017. They came through the regular season with a 14-3 record and ended the playoff as the number 2 seed in the NFC Conference. They were convincing winners over the Green Bay Packers, 22-10 in the wild card round before defeating the Los Angeles Rams 28-2 and then the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship game. That was a record for the most points scored in a Conference Championship match.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
The Chiefs are looking to become the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The Chiefs finished the regular season with a 15-2 winning record and they were the number 1 seeds heading in to the AFC heading into playoffs.
They had a first round bye before defeating the Houston Texans, 23-14 and then in the AFC Championship game they were too strong for the Buffalo Bills as they edged them 32-29 in a high scoring thriller.

I thought the Philadelphia Eagles were superb in the playoffs and while the Kansas City Chiefs have done nothing wrong, I don’t think they are quite at last years level and that the hattrick run will be broken.
