1st T20 South Africa vs India
The first match between these sides took place on Friday the 8th of November at Kingsmead Stadium in Durban. The game begun with the Proteas winning the toss and electing to field first. They managed to pick up an early wicket in the 4th over however they then let India stabilise and eventually cut loose.
Throughout the innings South African bowlers fought hard, taking wickets at regular intervals, however, they allowed India to form small but vital partnerships along the way that resulted in a total of 202/8 from the Indian batting line-up when the 20 overs concluded.
Top batsman was opener Sanju Samson who scored a century ending on 107 runs off 50 balls, with 10 sixes. On the South African end, it was Gerald Coetzee who topped the bowling figures taking 3 wickets for 37 runs in his 4 over spell.
The second innings saw South Africa take to the crease, where the Indian bowlers put them under immense pressure early on, claiming 3 important wickets before the end of the 6th over. South Africa then gained some control, but it was not long until they lost 3 wickets in just 5 balls between the 12th and 13th over, which left the back end of the batting line-up in a hopeless situation.
South Africa were bowled out for 141 runs in the 18th over losing by 61 runs. Top SA batsman on the night was Heinrich Klaasen who scored just 25 runs off 22 balls. The Indian bowlers were superb, and they had many good performances amongst the side, but Varun Chakravarthy claimed best bowler after taking a 3-wicket haul in his 4 overs for only 25 runs against him.

South Africa 2.15
India 1.75
BET: South Africa win at 2.15
South Africa have gone from favouto underdogs after a poor performance. That is understandable but there is still a number of match winners in the side and I am going to back the to level the series 1-1.
BET: Top South African Bowler Maharaj at 3.60
Maharaj only got 1 wicket in Durban but he bowled reasonably well and was perhaps unlucky not to get a couple more wickets. I think he will be a challenge on this wicket and I am hoping he gets amongst the Indian batsmen.
BET: Top Indian Batsmen Varma at 4.05
He looked good in Durban scoring a quick fire 33 at a strike rate of 183. For this bet to arrive I will be hoping for a couple of early Indian wickets.
