ATHLETICS
There are 5 Athletics finals on Tuesday night starting with the women’s Hammer Throw and also including the women’s 3000m Steeplechase and the women’s 200m.
As far as the men go, there is the men’s Long Jump final and 1500m final.
Camryn Rogers is the 6/10 favourite to win the Women’s Hammer Throw and we also have a firm favourite in the 3000m Steeplechase where Winfred Mutile Yavi is the 7/10 market leader with Beatrice Chepkoech and Peruth Chemuti at 5/2 and 11/4 respectively, expected to push her all the way.
Gabrielle Thomas looked excellent in the 200m semi-final and she is the 4/9 favourite ahead of Julien Alfred who won the 100m title. You can get 40/1 and better the balance in that race.
Talking of short-priced favourites, Miltiadis Tentoglou is 1/6 to win the Men’s Long Jump and the 1500 metres is priced as a two-horse race with Jakob Ingebrigtsen 7/10 and Josh Kerr 12/10.

Tuesday sees the quarter-finals of the women’s Volley Ball with China, Brazil, USA and Italy all expected to have comfortable victories.

It is also quarter-final day for the women’s Water Polo and the Netherlands v Italy looks like being the most competitive game with Netherlands 4/9, the draw 13/2 and Italy 16/5.

There are a lot of short-priced favourites on Tuesday but the men’s 1500m promises to be competitive and I have just got the feeling that Josh Kerr was holding something back in his semi-final.
