We take a look at the three World Cup T20 matches taking place on Tuesday, South African time including England’s first match of the Tournament against Scotland.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where India have firmed slightly to 5/2 favourites despite not playing a game, Australia are 7/2, you can get 9/2 England, 5/1 the West Indies and 7/1 South Africa.

AFGHANISTAN v UGANDA – Click here to bet
This match will be played at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana and Afghanistan are the short-priced favourites at 1/25 to get the victory with Uganda on offer at 19/2.
Afghanistan’s most recent T20 action was a 2-1 win over Ireland in the United Arab Emirates back in March and Uganda’s last match was a 106 run victory over Kenya in a game played in Ghana back in March.
Fortunately in these one-sided betting heats there are other Exotic Markets to bet on and I am going to back the brilliant Rashid Khan to be the Top Bowler in the match at 29/20
Suggested Bet: Rashid Khan, Top Bowler at 29/20

ENGLAND v SCOTLAND – Click here to bet
This game will be played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados and England are full-price favourites at 1/14 with the Scots priced at 31/4.
England’s last T20 action was in May in a two game series against Pakistan and England won both matches fairly comfortably.
Scotland played three matches in the Netherlands back in May, losing one game to the Netherlands and beating them in the other and losing to the Irish by 5 wickets in their last match.
These sides have never played a T20 International against each other.
This is another game where I will look to some of the alternative markets on offer and I am going to back Will Jacks for England’s Top Batter at a price of 33/10. Jacks looked very good in the IPL and I am hoping that he gets the nod to open the batting with Jos Buttler.
Suggested Bet: England Top Batter, Will Jacks at 33/10
NETHERLANDS v NEPAL – Click here to bet
This game will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas and the Netherlands are 40/85 favourites with Nepal priced at 33/20.
The Netherlands were last in action at home back in May where they beat Scotland by 41 runs before losing their next 3 games, 1 against the Scots and 2 against Ireland. Both defeats to Ireland were very close, going down by 1 run and 3 runs respectively.
Nepal were last in action in Oman against a variety of Nations and they played 6 times, winning 4 and losing 2.
These sides have played 12 T20 matches against each other with Nepal winning 5, the Netherlands 6 and there was 1 no result.
Not knowing much about Nepal I expect the Netherlands to be bigger favourites for this game, but looking at the record between the sides there is not much to choose between them and I think Nepal could be the value in the Outright Win market.
Suggested Bet: Nepal win at 33/20
Remember there will be in-running betting on all of the matches and keep an eye on the WSB Blog for daily previews.
