The Highlanders are 8th on the log, just 1 point ahead of Pasifika. They emerged victorious last week at home to the Force in a low scoring encounter winning 7-6 and the week before that they failed to score in Brisbane going down 31-0 to the Reds. That win over the Force broke a 5 match losing streak.

Pasifika will be determined to put up a good show at home, but I expected the Highlanders to be slight favourites for this one and will back them to win the match.

Crusaders v Reds – Click here to bet
The Crusaders are now 10th on the log with 2 wins and 7 defeats and last week they hammered the Rebels 39-0 at home and they have also beaten the Chiefs by 11 points at home this season.
The Reds are 6th on the log with 4 victories and 5 defeats and they were beaten 34-41 by the Blues in an exciting game at home last week. The week before that they also held the team scoreless, beating the Highlanders 31-0 at home, but they have only won once on the road in 4 attempts this season.

The Crusaders defence looked back to its best last week and I am going to back them to keep the Reds under 21.5 points.

The Brumbies are currently 3rd on the log and bounced back from a big loss to the Blues away when they beat the table topping Hurricanes 27-19 at home last week and they are undefeated at home this season.
The Drua are currently 7th on the log and they are coming off a bye having beaten the Moana Pasifika 24-17 at home. It is their away form that has let them down this season and they have lost all of their matches, conceding 34 points or more in each game.
The last time the Brumbies hosted the Drua they won by 15 points exactly, but in 2022 they won by 39 in Canberra and I reckon they could beat the handicap, especially given they have picked a strong team.
