We take a look at the two Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg fixtures taking place on Wednesday night and suggest a bet in each game.

BAYERN MUNICH v ARSENAL
Bayern Munich would have been very happy to draw 2-2 at Arsenal in the 1st leg. The Gunners had taken the lead in the 12th minute only for Bayern Munich to hit back with goals in the 18th and 32nd minutes for a 2-1 lead. Arsenal equalised in the 76th minute, but were unable to finish the game off.
Bayern Munich booked their spot in the last 8 with a 3-1 aggregate win over Lazio. They had lost the 1st leg 1-0 on the road, but were too strong at home winning 3-0. Bayern Munich beat FC Köln 2-0 at home in the League on the weekend and that broke a 3 match run without a victory across all competitions.
Arsenal beat Porto 2-1 on aggregate to book their spot in the quarter-finals. They also trailed 1-0 after the first leg before winning 2-0 at home. Arsenal were rocked in the League on the weekend seeing their Title ambitions take a dent when they went down 2-0 at home to Aston Villa, a game where they started 1/4 favourites. That ended a run of Arsenal going unbeaten for 8 successive matches across all competitions.

MANCHESTER CITY v REAL MADRID
These sides played out an absolute thriller in Madrid in the 1st leg with the match finishing 3-3. City had taken the lead in the 2nd minute only for Real Madrid to lead 2-1 after 14 minutes before City came back to lead 3-2 with a 71st minute goal, but the action wasn’t over and Real Madrid equalised in the 79th minute to keep themselves in the tie.
Manchester City had booked their spot in the last 8 with a 6-2 victory over FC Copenhagen, beating them both 3-1 home and away. City’s last 9 matches in the Champions League have all had 3 goals or more in them and 8 of those 9 matches had at least 4 goals in them.
Real Madrid booked their spot in the last 8 when they beat RB Leipzig 2-1 on aggregate having won away from home 1-0 and then drawing 1-1 at home.
Real Madrid are undefeated in their last 15 matches in all competitions and Manchester City last tasted defeat away at Aston Villa in the League back in December of 2023.
These sides last met here last season in the Champions League with Manchester City winning 4-0 and the season before that they won 4-3 at home against Real Madrid.
