DORTMUND v ATLÉTICO MADRID
Atlético Madrid won the first leg 2-1 at home, taking the lead in the 4th minute and then doubling it in the 32nd. Dortmund fought back well to pull one back in the 81st and despite piling the pressure on in the final 10 minutes they could not grab an equaliser.
Dortmund had previously beaten PSV 2-1 on aggregate winning the home leg 2-0 and they are coming off an impressive display in the League on the weekend beating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 on the road.
Atlético Madrid would have been relieved to hear the final whistle in Spain and they know that they can expect a huge assault from Dortmund on home turf. Madrid booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Inter in the round of 16. They trailed 1-0 after the first leg on the road, but won the home leg 3-1. Atlético Madrid have won their last 3 matches in all competitions.

BARCELONA v PSG
Spanish giants Barcelona are strong favourites to go through to the semi-finals after winning the first leg 3-2 at PSG. They took the lead in the 37th minute, only for PSG to come back to lead 2-1 after strikes in the 48th and 51st minutes. Barcelona hit back though to equalise and grab the winner in the 77th minute.
Barcelona saw off Napoli in the last 16, drawing 1-1 on the road before winning 3-1 at home and both teams have found the back of the net in Barcelona’s last 5 Champions League fixtures. Barcelona are on a 13 match unbeaten run across all competitions and have won their last 6.
PSG booked their spot in the last 8 when they beat Real Sociedad 4-1 on aggregate, winning 2-0 at home and 2-1 on the road. The defeat to Barcelona in the first leg was the first time PSG had lost a match since going down to AC Milan in November of 2023. They had started the Barcelona match as 11/10 favourites.

Over 2.5 goals is priced short here at 40/85 as it really looks like a game where the goals are going to flow. Barcelona score plenty, but also concede and PSG will have no chance, but to go on the attack. I am looking or 4 goals or more in this one.
