As the 4th week of Super Rugby begins, let’s examine the betting odds for the three games scheduled to take place on Friday, March 15th.
Crusaders vs Hurricanes – Click here to bet
The Crusaders have had a disappointing start to their tournament, losing all three of their opening games. These defeats include two away losses against the Chiefs and Fijian Drua, as well as a home loss against the Waratahs. As a result, they find themselves second to last on the table, with only 1 point and a -27 points difference.
In contrast, the Hurricanes have enjoyed a strong start to their season, winning all three of their initial matches. They have secured victories against the Reds and Blues at home, as well as defeating the Western Force away. This impressive run places the Hurricanes at the top of the table, boasting 13 points and a remarkable 43 points difference.
Given the Crusaders poor form and the formidable performance of the Hurricanes, the Crusaders will need to deliver a stellar performance to secure their first victory, which seems unlikely at this point.
Betting
Crusaders 2.15
Hurricanes 1.85
Suggested Bet: Hurricanes to win at 1.85
Rebels vs Reds – Click here to bet
In their first three games of the season, the Rebels have secured two victories and suffered one loss. They triumphed over the Western Force at home and defeated Moana Pasifika away but faced defeat against the Brumbies on their home turf. These wins have positioned them in third place on the table as they head into the fourth week.
Similarly, the Reds have had a comparable start to their campaign, winning two out of three games. They emerged victorious against the Chiefs and the Waratahs, both matches played at home, but faced a defeat against the Hurricanes in their sole away game. This places them one spot above the Rebels on the table, also with 10 points.
Despite their similar starts to the season, the Reds have shown themselves to be the stronger team thus far, which should give them the edge for their third win on Friday.
Betting
Rebels 4.20
Reds 1.30
Suggested Bet: Reds handicap [-8.5] at 1.95

Western Force vs Moana Pasifika – Click here to bet
The Western Force began their season with three unfortunate losses in their first three games. They were defeated by the Hurricanes at home, followed by losses to the Rebels and the Brumbies, both away. As a result, they find themselves with only 1 point, sitting at the bottom of the table heading into the fourth week.
Moana Pasifika, on the other hand, have had a slightly better start to their tournament, securing one win in their first three games. They suffered a loss at home against the Rebels and another loss away against the Highlanders. However, they managed to secure a victory against the Fijian Drua on their home turf, earning them five points and placing them 9th on the table.
Despite the Force’s poor form thus far this season, they have the advantage of playing at home, which should allow them to put in a solid performance on Friday.
Betting
Western Force 1.47
Moana Pasifika 3.13
Suggested Bet: Western Force handicap [-5.5] at 1.91
