Following India’s victory in the second game of the series, levelling it at 1-1, the third test is scheduled to commence on Thursday, the 15th of February, at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. We look at the test from a betting angle.

With India taking the second test and levelling the series, they remain favourites to win the 5 match series at 2/9, with England sitting at 11/2 and the drawn series at 10/1.
2nd Test
To start the second test, India won the toss and opted to bat first. Jaiswal wasted no time getting into form, scoring an excellent 209 runs. While this was taking place, however, wickets were falling, with Anderson, Bashir and Ahmed each managing to take three wickets. This resulted in India scoring a total of 396 runs before being bowled out in the 112th over.
England also had a decent start, with Crawley opening the batting and scoring a solid 76 runs. However, the rest of the batting order failed to find a good rhythm, with Stokes being the next highest run-scorer with 47 runs. A massive 6 wicket haul from Bumrah then saw England being bowled out for 253 runs after just 56 overs.
After starting poorly in their second innings at the crease, with 2 wickets falling for only 30 runs, Gill steadied the ship with a century. With Hartley getting 4 wickets, India were bowled out for 255 runs, giving them a 399-run lead going into the last innings.
Despite a solid start in the chase, with Crawley once again scoring over 70 runs, the English batsmen struggled to gain momentum and score big runs as required. Bumrah and Ashwin were mainly responsible for this, each managing to take 3 wickets. As a result, England were bowled out for 292 runs, giving India a 106 run victory and drawing the series 1-1.
