Palace are currently 15^th on the log and they have lost 3 and won 2 of their last 5 matches.  They were hammered 4-1 away at Brighton in their last start, but their last home game was a 3-2 victory over Sheffield United.

Chelsea are currently 11^th on the table and saw a 3 match winning streak ended in their penultimate start when they went down 4-1 away to Liverpool.  They were then beaten 4-2 at home by Wolves, a game where they started 11/20 favourites.

Chelsea have won 4 out of their 11 away matches, but they have lost 4 of their last 5 road trips.  Chelsea’s recent games have also had goals in them and 3 of their last 4 have reached the 4 goal mark with 5 out of their last 6 delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at home in the reverse fixture, scoring the winner by a penalty kick in the 89^th minute.  That was Chelsea’s 12^th successive win over Crystal Palace in League football.

Chelsea have really dominated Crystal Palace over the years, but given their performance against Wolves I am reluctant to jump in and back the 15/20.  Instead I am going to be looking at the goals markets where I am pleasantly surprised to be getting 2/1 that we get 4 goals or more in the game.  This looks generous given how high scoring both Palace and Chelsea matches have been of late.

Suggested Bet:  Over 3.5 goals at 2/1
