Two Serie A matches are taking place on Monday night, and we suggest a bet in each.
The Serie A results ran very much true to form on the weekend and Inter Milan remain firm favourites at 4/10 to win the league. Juventus are 11/4 with AC Milan 11/1 and you can get 50/1 and better the balance.

EMPOLI v LECCE – Click here to bet
Empoli are currently 17th on the log with 3 wins in their 14 starts. They have only won 1 of their last 5 matches and last time out drew 1-1 away at Genoa. Their last home game was an exciting 4-3 defeat to Sassuolo, but they have the worst home record in the division with just 1 win and 1 draw in 7 matches.
Lecce are currently 13th on the log and they have also only won 3 of 14 matches and haven’t won in their last 9 during which time they have had 5 draws. They are coming off 3 successive draws, most recently 1-1 at home to Bologna and prior to that 2-2 at Verona. They have yet to win on the road this season.
Empoli won this fixture 1-0 last season and the reverse fixture finished 1-1.
Empoli are the 33/20 favourites with the draw 22/10 and Lecce available at 15/8.
With both these sides struggling to win games the draw is certainly an option, but both teams have found the back of the net in Lecce’s last 4 games and I am going to bet that we go for 5 on the trot.

Cagliari are currently second from bottom of the table in 19th spot with just 2 wins in their opening 14 games. They have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for and they went down 1-0 away to Lazio last time out. Their last home game was a 1-1 draw with Monza and overall at home this season they have taken 8 points from a possible 21.
Sassuolo are 14th on the log but have only won 1 of their last 8 matches. They lost 2-1 at home to Roma last time out and they have taken 7 points from a possible 18 on the road this season.
Cagliari are the 27/20 favourites to pick up the 3 points with the draw 26/10 and Sassuolo priced at 39/20.
Sassuolo’s last away game was a 4-3 victory at Empoli and given Cagliari’s latest form I think they are the value to pick up 3 away points here.
