KEVIN LERENA vs SENAD GASHI
Bridgerweight Bout:
Kevin Lerena is a 31-year-old South African fighter who currently sits on a fighting record of 29-2, with 14 of these 29 fights ending with him stopping his opponents. Lerena possesses a great deal of power, which can be seen in his brutal knockouts but alongside that, he also has impressive stamina, with many of his fights going the distance.
After a loss to Daniel Dubois in London, Lerena missed out on the WBA secondary heavyweight title, however since then he has made a statement, claiming a unanimous decision win over the likes of Ryad Merhy earlier this year. Lerena will enter the ring this weekend as the heavy favourite, and it is expected that he will beat Gashi without too much trouble.
Senad Gashi is a 33-year-old fighter from Germany, who has a professional boxing record of 27-3, with an extremely impressive 26 of these 27 fights ending in stoppages, leaving him with a very high knockout rate. Gashi is certainly an extremely powerful fighter, who can deal some heavy blows to his opponents, but the real worry is that Lerena will simply be too good for him on the night.
Gashi has not lost a fight since losing 2 in a row in 2018/2019 and his last fight ended in a round 1 KO win over Alen Lauriolle just a few months ago. Although he enters as a massive underdog this weekend, he will look to land some big hits and put Lerena under pressure early on.

Gashi (13/2)
PREDICTION:
I believe that the odds are stacked in Lerena’s favour for a reason, and he will dominate this fight, taking the win by TKO/KO within 6 rounds*.
UNDERCARD BOUTS:
Shervantaigh Koopman vs Christiano Ndombassy is also a very one-sided fight in terms of the betting markets, with Koopman entering this weekend as the heavy favourite over Ndombassy. I believe that Koopman will dominate early and beat Ndombassy by TKO/KO in round 4.

Koopman (1/11)
Draw (25/1)
Ndombassy (7/1)
Carl Van Blerk vs Justin Mostert is another bout that catches my eye, these two will enter the fight very even in the betting and there is no doubt that it could go either way. Both fighters have only fought in 1 professional fight each, with Van Blerk picking up a win, and Mostert losing. I believe that Van Blerk will win this fight by decision, with both fighters having enough in the tank to go the distance.

Mostert (9/10)
