We take a look at 4 of the La Liga matches taking place on Friday and Saturday and suggest a bet in each game.
Let’s take a look at the latest outright betting markets coming out after the International break and Real Madrid are currently the 6/10 favourites to win the La Liga ahead of Barcelona at 23/10. Atletico Madrid are 17/2, Girona 20/1 and you can get 200/1 and better the balance.

ALAVES v GRANADA – Click here to bet
Alaves are currently 15th on the log and they have only won 1 of their last 9 matches. They went down 2-1 away to Barcelona last time out, but their last home game was a 1-0 win over Almeria and they have won 50% of their home matches this season.
Granada are currently second from bottom of the log with just 1 win in their opening 13 matches and they have only taken 4 points from the last 30 they have played for. One of those came last time out at home to Getafe where the match finished 1-1 and Granada have only picked up 1 point in 6 away matches this season.
Alaves are worthy favourites here at 5/6, but I fancy both teams to find the back of the net, a bet that would have collected in the last 6 head-to-heads between the sides and in 4 of the last 5 Alaves matches.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 19/20
RAYO VALLECANO V BARCELONA – Click here to bet
Rayo Vallecano are 10th on the log and they have drawn 6 of their last 8 matches. Last time out they lost 2-1 at home to Girona and they have only won once in 6 home matches this season.
Barcelona are 3rd on the log and bounced back from their home defeat to Real Madrid with a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad away and a 2-1 win over Alaves at home.
Rayo Vallecano have beaten Barcelona in their last two home matches in the League and they are 4/1 to make it 3 in a row.
Barcelona have looked a bit shaky of late and I think that Vallecano can get something out of this game.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Vallecano +0.5 goals at 5/4

VALENCIA v CELTA DE VIGO – Click here to bet
Valencia are currently 9th on the log and saw a 4 match unbeaten streak ended when they went down 5-1 at Real Madrid last time out. They have won 4 and lost 2 of their 6 home matches and are looking for their 3rd successive home win.
Celta de Vigo are currently in 18th place with just 1 win so far this season. They have only taken 3 points from the last 27 they have played for and last time out lost 4-3 in a thriller to Athletic Bilbao on the road. They have lost their last 4 away matches, but their only victory this season did come on their travels.
Valencia have won their last 5 La Liga Matches against Celta de Vigo and I am more than happy to take anything above 1/1 that they make it 6 on the trot.
Suggested Bet: Valencia win at 12/10
ATLÉTICO MADRID v MALLORCA – Click here to bet
Atlético Madrid are currently 4th on the log and they have won 7 of their last 8 matches. Last time out they beat Villarreal 3-1 at home and all 6 of Atletico Madrid’s home matches have seen them collect maximum points and there have been at least 3 goals in each of those games.
Mallorca are 17th on the log with 1 win in their opening 12 matches. They lost 2-0 away to Betis last time out and they are without a win in their last 7 games. Their lone win this season did come on the road.
Atlético Madrid are predictably short priced favourites here at 4/10, but given the high scoring nature of their home matches this season I think the value lies in over 2.5 goals.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 19/20
