Wolves v Brighton – Click here to bet
Brighton have started their 23/24 Premier league campaign confidently, securing a comfortable 4-1 over newly promoted Luton Town. They did, however, not have the strongest results in their warmup games, only managing to win one of their three games.
Wolves on the other hand, manged to go undefeated in all seven of their warmup games, but they did not maintain their streak after suffering a 1-0 loss to Manchester United in their opening premier league game.
In their last three meetings in the EPL, Brighton have managed to score three or more goals and win all three games. I think Brighton will be able be victorious at the Molineux this weekend and am betting that the goals flow for the visitors.
Suggested Bet: Brighton to score over 2.5 goals at 26/10
Liverpool v Bournemouth – Click here to bet
With only one loss in their preseason of 5 games, Liverpool were in decent form coming up to the start of the Premier league. They then earned a point away from home by drawing 1-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their opening game.
Similarly, Bournemouth drew their opening game to West Ham also 1-1, with Domonic Solanke managing to score a late 82’ goal to secure the point.
In the last two meetings of Liverpool and Bournemouth at Anfield, Liverpool have won both. The combination of decent recent form and the home ground advantage should see Liverpool comfortably take the win on their own soil and I fancy them to keep a clean sheet in doing so.
Suggested Bet: Liverpool to keep a clean sheet at 11/10
Fulham v Brentford – Click here to bet
Fulham’s pre-season consisted of three games in which they lost two and won one, with their one win being a 3-2 victory over Brentford. They also started their EPL campaign with a win, after beating Everton 1-0 away from home.
Brentford didn’t have a very successful pre-season playing 4 games and not managing to win any of them. They did then manage to earn a point in the first game if the season though with a 2-2 Draw against Tottenham.
In the last 3 head to heads there has been a total of 5 goals scored and I expect a high scoring but close game.
Suggested Bet: Totals number of goals to be over 3.5 at 22/10
Tottenham v Manchester United – Click here to bet
Tottenham won 2 of their 4 preseason warmup games, with 2 losses. They then started their Premier League season with a draw to Brentford away from home, with their new signing, James Maddison, earning himself man of the match after a very good performance.
After a preseason of eight games, in which four were wins, Man United took the win in their opening game with a 1-0 home win over Wolves.
Tottenham look a bit vulnerable at the moment and I am backing United to be victorious away from home this weekend something they have achieved in 3 of their last 5 visits here, the other 2 games finishing as draws.
Suggested Bet: Man United to win at 11/8
Manchester City v Newcastle United – Click here to bet
Following a convincing win over Burnley in their opening Premier league game as well as a win in penalties against Sevilla to win the UEFA Super Cup, Man City will be going into this game full of confidence.
Newcastle, however, have also been in good form, winning both their warmup games as well as a very comfortable 5-1 over Aston Villa in the first game of the new season. They are also coming off their best finish they’ve had in 20 years (4th), so their confidence will be justifiably high.
Newcastle have lost both of their last two visits to the Etihad, and Man City in their current form should be able to take all three points but I reckon we are in for a tight and low scoring game. I am backing under 2.5 goals which would have arrived in 2 of the last 3 league head to heads hosted by City.
Suggested Bet: Totals goals to be under 2.5 at 23/20
