There are two Serie A matches taking place on Monday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
A reminder that the Serie A Outright markets will be updated throughout the season and at the time of writing Inter Milan are the 37/20 favourites to win the title with Napoli 28/10, Juventus 7/2, AC Milan 5/1 and you can get 11/1 and better the balance.
There are also markets such as to get relegated with Cagliari trading at 15/10

Torino v Cagliari – Click here to bet
Torino finished 10th in Serie A last season. They look to have made a few shrewd signings this season despite having less cash to splash around than some of their bigger rivals and they will be looking for an opening victory here and will be hoping to challenge for European places this season.
Torino were involved in the Coppa Italia Cup last weekend hosting Feralpisalò where they won 2-1 with an 85th minute winner.
Cagliari has also made a few signings and manager Claudio Ranieri will be hoping that his charges will get off to a fast start in their first match in Serie A having come through the playoffs from Serie B last season.
Cagliari were at home to Palermo in the Cup last week winning 2-1 in extra time.
These sides last met 2 seasons back in Serie A with Cagliari winning this fixture 2-1 and the reverse fixture finishing 1-1.
Torino are 15/20 to win the match and I expect them to do that, but at the end of the day they are a team that is generally built around their defence and I am going to back the visitors to draw a blank.
Suggested Bet: Cagliari, Total goals under 0.5 at 11/10
Bologna v AC Milan – Click here to bet
Bologna were 9th in Serie A last season and they finished the season strongly undefeated in their last 5 games. They were at home to Cesena in the Coppa Italia Cup last week winning 2-0 and prior to that enjoyed mixed success in a number of friendlies.
AC Milan finished 4th on the log last season winning their last 3 games, but finishing 2 points behind their big rivals, Inter.
AC Milan have played a number of low-key friendlies in the build-up to the new season and while they have scored 4 goals in their 2 most recent wins there is not much we can read into that given the standard of opposition wasn’t great.
AC Milan haven’t lost to Bologna in their last 10 League matches, however, 2 of the last 4 games between the sides have finished level including this fixture last season where the final score was 1-1.
Bologna are not easy to beat, especially at home and I think the value in this opening game for the two teams lies in the draw.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 5/2
