There are 7 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each of them.
The English Premier League returns after the International break and let’s start with a look at the latest Premier league betting where Arsenal are trading as 13/20 favourites ahead of Manchester City at 13/10. You can also bet on which team will finish in the bottom half or Top 4 and you can click here for all of the long-term EPL Markets.
Manchester City v Liverpool – Click here to bet
What a cracking game to get the weekend started as 2nd placed City take on 6th placed Liverpool who are well out of title contention, but priced as 9/4 to finish in the Top 4. City are unbeaten in their last 6, winning 5 and drawing 1 and they have taken 34 points from a possible 39 at home this season.
Liverpool have been inconsistent and in their penultimate start they hammered Manchester United 7-0 at home before losing 1-0 on the road to Bournemouth. It is their away form that has let them down this season with only 3 wins in 13 starts.
Liverpool beat Manchester City 1-0 in the reverse fixture and last season both matches finished 2-2. Liverpool have been kept scoreless in 4 of their last 5 away games and I think they are going to struggle to break down this Manchester City defence.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, NO, at 12/10

Arsenal v Leeds – Click here to bet
Arsenal are top of the table with just 3 defeats in 28 matches and they have won their last 6 games in a row, last time beating Palace 4-1 at home.
Leeds are 14th on the log and picked up a much needed 4-2 away win over Wolves last time out and that was just their 2nd away win of the season.
Arsenal are going to face plenty of hurdles on the way to winning the Title, but I don’t think this is going to be one and I am backing them to win by 2 goals or more.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1.5 at 8/10.
Bournemouth v Fulham – Click here to bet
Bournemouth are currently 2nd from bottom of the table with 3 defeats and a victory in their last 4 starts. That win was a shock 1-0 home victory over Liverpool in their penultimate start.
Fulham are 9th on the log, but have only taken 1 point from their last 3 games, but they have managed 5 victories in 13 starts on the road.
While I have firm views on this game I am going to go with the Correct Score priced at 1-1, a result which has landed in 2 of the last 3 meetings between the sides.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, 1-1 at 9/2
Brighton v Brentford –Click here to bet
Brighton are 7th on the table level on points with 8th placed Brentford, but having played 2 games less. Their last match was a 1-0 home win over Palace and they have only lost once in their last 9 starts.
Brentford have only lost 1 match in their last 15 games and last time out they drew 1-1 at home to Leicester.
Brentford won 2-0 at home earlier this season and last season Brighton won this fixture by the same score line.
I think a tight game is on the cards here and I am going for under 2.5 goals, a result which would have arrived in the last 3 head-to-head matches between the sides.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 21/20
Crystal Palace v Leicester – Click here to bet
Crystal Palace are currently 12th on the log, but in free fall and without a win in their last 10 games. They have also lost their last 4 games in a row.
Leicester are 17th on the log, equally out of form with just 1 point from the last 15 they have played for. That came last time out in a 1-1 draw at Brentford and that draw broke a run of 4 successive defeats.
It really is hard to make a case for either team here and I am going to go for the draw.
Suggested Bet: The Draw at 23/10
Nottingham v Wolves – Click here to bet
Nottingham are currently 16th on the log, but without a win in their last 6 starts and they have only taken 2 points from the last 9 they have played for at home.
Wolves are currently 13th on the log with just 1 win in their last 6 starts and they are coming off back-to-back defeats at home to Leeds and away at Newcastle.
Wolves edged the reverse fixture 1-0 at home, but I am having a bet in the goals markets here.
Nottingham’s last 4 matches have delivered for over 2.5 goal backers as have Wolves last 2 games and I think we could get another free flowing affair with plenty of defensive errors.
Suggest Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 33/10
Chelsea v Aston Villa – Click here to bet
Chelsea are 10th on the log and they face Villa who sit one position below them and level on points with just goal difference separating the sides. Chelsea have taken 7 points from the last 9 they have played for and their last home game was a 2-2 draw against Everton. Aston Villa are also in good form with 3 wins and a draw in their last 4 starts.
Chelsea were too strong for Villa in the reverse fixture winning 2-0 on the road and that was their 3rd successive victory over Villa, a trend I think will continue.
Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 4/6
