The World Sports Betting team, in association with community members visited the elderly and frail care residents of Nazareth House in Yeoville this week, surprising the residents with a new pair of shoes!
Residents gathered for their daily tea and enjoyed a slice of cake while receiving their new shoes. A feeling of great excitement filled the room as some residents took to immediately putting on their new shoes to show everyone.
Adrian Shunmugan, a resident and community leader in the greater Yeoville area and long-time supporter of Nazareth House was on hand with his family after personally helping WSB with the logistics of getting the shoes delivered.
“Nazareth house is an organisation close to my heart and when the World Sports Betting Team asked me to assist I was very excited to do so” said Adrian.
Ryno Du Plessis, marketing manager for World Sports Betting was also on-hand to represent the company and help with the handouts. “Our CEO Warren Tannous is a long-time, frequent supporter of Nazareth house and the community that they serve. As World Sports Betting we have supported them in many ways in the past and I always feel privileged to be a part of it” said Ryno.
