There are 3 DSTV Premiership games taking place on Tuesday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
Chippa United v Sekhukhune – Click here to bet
Chippa United are currently 7th on the table and flying high after 3 successive victories. They beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 on the road last time out and their last home game was a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants. 50% of the Chippa United matches would have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers this season.
Sekhukhune are currently 10th on the log with 2 wins in their 10 matches. They lost 3-1 on the road to SuperSport United last time out and they have only had 1 win in their last 8 games. Only 3 of the 10 Sekhukhune matches have reached the 3 goal mark.
This fixture finished goalless last season and Chippa United won the reverse 1-0 and Chippa United can continue their strong recent run and bag the 3 points here.
Suggested Bet: Chippa United win at 11/8
Stellenbosch v SuperSport United – Click here to bet
Stellenbosch are currently 6th on the log with 3 wins and 5 draws in their 11 starts. Last time out they drew 1-1 away at Golden Arrows, their last home game was a 3-1 loss to Chiefs. Both teams have found the back of the net in 5 out of the last 6 Stellenbosch games, a rarity in the PSL and 6 of their 11 matches seen over 2.5 goal backers collect.
SuperSport United are up to 3rd on the table with 4 wins and a loss in their last 5 games. They beat Sekhukhune 3-1 at home last time out and their last away game was a 2-1 loss to Kaizer Chiefs. SuperSport’s last 5 matches have all had 3 goals or more in them and both teams have found the net in each of those.
This is one of those rare occasions that the stats suggest goals and I am going to be betting that both teams find the net.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 11/10
Golden Arrows v Orlando Pirates – Click here to bet
Arrows currently sit 10th on the log and are undefeated in their last 3 games with 2 draws and 1 victory. Last time out they drew 1-1 at home to Stellenbosch and their last away game was a 2-1 loss to Sundowns. 30% of the Golden Arrows matches have reached at least 3 goals this season.
Pirates are 5th on the table with 4 wins and 4 draws in their 11 starts. They haven’t won in their last 3, but are coming off back-to-back home draws against AmaZulu and Richards Bay. Pirates games average just 1.2 goals each this season (amazingly not the lowest in the Division) and if you had been backing over 2.5 goals in each of the games you would be pretty much bankrupt as not one of them has reached the 3 goal mark. An amazing stat is that there has only been 3 goals in total in the last 8 Premier League meetings between these sides with 6 goalless draws.
It is not a bet I take often, but with Pirates recent form and the head-to-head stats between the sides I simply have to have a play at the goalless draw here and also take under 1.5 goals to be scored.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score 0-0 at 5/1
Suggested Bet: Under 1.5 goals at 15/10
