The World Sports Betting SA Triple Crown for 3-year-olds is the richest series of races in Africa and comprises the following races:
Leg 1: R750,000 Cape Guineas (Grade 1) 1600m (Kenilworth Saturday 18 December 2021)
OR
Leg 1: R1,000,000 WSB Gauteng Guineas (Grade 2) 1600m (Turffontein – Saturday 5 February 2022)
Leg 2: R1,500,000 WSB SA Classic (Grade 1) 1800m (Turffontein – Saturday 5 March 2022)
Leg 3: R1,500,000 WSB SA Derby (Grade 1) 2450m (Turffontein – Saturday 2 April 2022)
A bonus of R2 million will be paid to connections of the horse that wins all three legs of the WSB SA Triple Crown If ownership changes across the series, the bonus will be shared proportionately
5% of the bonus will be paid to winning trainer/s, 5% to the winning jockey/s and 0.5% to the winning groom (if the trainer, jockey or groom changes across the
series, the bonus will be shared proportionately)
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO consolation bonus scheme.
PLEASE NOTE: Horses which have participated in both 1st & 2nd legs of the WSB SA Triple Crown will not be subject to the payment of Entry
& Declaration fees in the 3rd leg i.e. FREE entry and declaration in the SA Derby (Grade 1)
Back any horse to win and if your selection runs 2nd, we will refund your stake in Free Bets!
